Havent been back in a while. Stayed in log cabin. Lovely little units. Had trouble with lights and cooker and found problems getting staff to fix. Also looked forward to swim in evening to relax with kids but pool was closed at 4.00pm. Sort of spoiled it.
Was lovely walk into town, but hard to find anywhere nice to eat in ballyxcastle. Not many facilities for kids at camp site. Maybe it has improved over the years.

Great site would be beter if they give it a good clean up and lifted the grass! Gawn inn great pub with entertainment at weekends, be even better if kids were kept out! Ballycastle a great town, all the main attractions of north Antrim coast only about 20 minutes away. Was wondering why some camp sites open all year and this one 9 months? Another plus is local taxis service the site as well

Silvercliffs has a pub and swimming pool on site. there are lots for the kids to do, and its only a minutes walk to the beautifult town of Ballycastle. However we found the whole site to be noisy, rowdy and dirty. The toilets were poor. The site seems to be mainly static with some tourers. There seemed to be hundreds of cars speeding everywhere with little regard to safety.

We stayed here in May in one of the apartments as advertised in the Irish ferry brochure. The apartment was spotless and well equipped.
The caravan site is as suggested an after thought, but the people running the site were very helpful and there were a number of touring vans on the site amongst the statics.
The town of Ballycastle is so sweet, and the marina is a haven for boat owners.
