Just returned from a break at White Tower for the Easter weekend. Couldn't put my finger on it but there was something about the site that will mean we will not be returning. The units are very close together and with it being a bank holiday weekend it was very busy.
There are around 100+ pitches on the site and around 90 of these are seasonal pitches and it appeared to us (and one or two other visitors) to be very clicky and if you were a touring visitor then you didn't fit in.
The facilities themselves however are very good and the toilets and showers immaculate. The pool was open and the kids enjoyed the little time they spent in it. The play area is quite small however for the number of units on the site and the large number of children. If you do not have kids then this is not the site for you! Also if you do not like groups sitting outside their vans until two in the morning (despite the low April temperatures) then again this site isn't for you.

What a great site, clean and tidy, the toilet block was the cleanest we have ever stayed in. We stayed here last September and have booked for Easter this year really looking forward to our second visit. The club was great with excellent entertainment. Swimming pool was lovely and warm the kids loved it. An excellent base to get out and about in North Wales. Games room kept the kids amused. Would definitely recommend this site !

A very well kept site, clean and tidy facilities and we had an enjoyable evening in the club. Weather unfit to try out the small outdoor pool. However, we did not think this site should really cater for tents. Our pitch was in the middle of the touring vans and within a few feet of a van's lounge window. We also got the impression that the occupiers of the vans held the same view as ourselves. We like the area but won't stay on this particular site again.

The site is extremely clean and spacious - but the caravan units are very close together. The available grassed pitches for tourers do not drain easily after a storm and therefore if you have pitched an awning the pegs soon come loose as the ground softens so much. We have a disabled son and we went expecting the disabled facilities that we were verbally told by the site actually existed. They did -- but not what we expected. The disabled WC did not have a shower. The showers were not accessible by wheel chair users. Access OK but actual shower entry has a 12 inch ( 30cm) step making it impossible for a wheelchair bound person who cannot walk to access the shower. The site is flat and great in many other ways. However the club is only open at weekends and the site did seem deserted during the week we were there. Yet the rain for this period did seem to keep people away. The views of Snowdonia are superb. The near village of Dinas Dinlle was at the sea front. If you want seclusion it provides this- and you are far away from the crowds. Recommendation- upgrade your disabled facilities. Would we return - the missus says yes, the boys yes - so overall a good week. (July 2007) The week it rained, hailed etc.

First point this is a clean camp site with good security. However, it is geared towards the seasonal camper with very few spaces for the tourers, if you like the stack them and rack them approach to camping then this is the camp site for you! Access to the touring field is difficult and narrow around the static pitches, the map given to you on arrival at reception is basic and no help was offered to find your ptich. The playground is ok but a bit dated, the 'swimming pool' is very small but I could not comment on how good it was as it was not open when we were there. There is a games room on site with fruit machines which is open to all ages which considering it is illegal to gamble below the ages of 18 I find quite bad. All in all I personally wouldnt recommend it and I will not be returning.

August 2005 WE visited this site with a tent, but it is more suitable for caravans. There wasn't much room between pitches, and the touring field was very water logged after a storm! Not much space for young children. However the showers and toilets were always clean, and the water always hot. The nearest shop is a approx 3 miles away, so a bit of a problem if you run out of milk. Laundrette on site, and ice blocks frozen for us, but the reception was open from around 10am-5pm, so not always there to pick them up. The outdoor swimming pool was warm, and a small playground for the children.

July 2005 This was our first time to this site and we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the camping field. There is a club with a childrens room which is rather rudely enforced. It has a small clean heated swimming pool and a few games machines. There is no shop on the site which was disapointing and requires a 6 mile round trip to get a morning paper!. Most of the caravans are very close togehter and pitches are very cramped. The toilets are very clean and the waste facilities are very good, however, there doesn't appear to be many water taps for the number of units on the site. Altough this site is ideal for families and was full of young children, so the kids had someone to make friends with, the site is very remote and you really need to use the car to go anywhere. My only suggestion to the owner is to get a diary to write messages in, as there seems to be little communication between staff, but on the whole a nice place.

August 2001 We thought this place was great! The clubhouse serves cheap drinks until late & there was live music & Karaoke which was hilarious! There are quite a few caravans mixed in with tents which is good, the facilities were clean & the people very friendly. This goes down in history as our best camping trip to date & the one on which we ate the most sausages! p.s. watch out for lecherous married men who think it's appropriate to chat girls up while their wives sleep soundly in their vans.
