Our first camping holiday (2 adults and one 10 year old).Site was in excellent location for local shops(inc chip shop),boat hire and pub although pub food had poor service and did not have the most exciting menu.Trevor and Sue were very friendly and were there to offer us a hand, as this was our first camping holiday. The toilets/showers were adequate rather than great. There was a nice wash room for washing up plates etc with hot water and information was abundant on places to visit and alike. This site is well sheltered but is a quite small site and with no play area for children (several ducks and chickens on site though).Would recommend this site for couples wishing to have a quite relaxing break rather than a family looking to meet others. However still had a great time. What was really nice was that we just received a xmas card from Trevor & Sue what a nice touch.

A super site with welcoming owners and a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The facilities are clean and very adequate...hot showers are available via a 20p slot meter, though washing and shaving are via cold water in a basin...refreshing though. The site is small but is very well sheltered and has a real sense of privacy. Recommended to all...I paid £8.00 per night for tent with no electric hook up (there are electric hook ups available though if you need one) which I thought very reasonable.

This is our kind of site. It is well placed for pubs, restaurant, chip shop, supermarket and boat hire, all of which are within an easy walk. The nearest garage is about half a mile away. The owners - who seem always to be busy making improvements - are welcoming, the facilities are adequate and kept clean and the price is right! It's a small site - evenly split between tourers and statics - and so might run out of capacity in peak season, but it's worth the advance booking and shouldn't be overrun by hordes of noisy kids . . . am I giving my age away here? It shares its only downside with the rest of Norfolk - we have to travel by the A17 and the A47 to get there .
