Firstly so easy to book using the website. We had more in our party the first night than the second but found it really easy to book and it worked out brilliantly.
Excellent campsite very clean and peaceful. Showers, toilets and kitchen area are so clean and tidy a pleasure to camp.
Water was always hot whenever we showered or washed up which is a big bonus.
COSAWES should be very proud of what they have got. Will definitely be going back.

Just came back from 1 week at Cosawes and it was absolutely brilliant. The site was perfect, very clean and tidy. Shower/toilet block was immaculate and seemed very new, there was an added bonus of the use of a fridge/freezer and for a small charge washing machine and dryer.
The pitches are well maintained with ample room. Electric hook ups, water etc. Are all within easy reach. Towards the end of week we found that the pitch we were on was not getting much sun and the wind was blowing the tent over, we asked the warden (who was a very nice man) if we could move to the opposite side of the field he was only to obliging, he checked for space and found us a pitch in the sunshine.
The price was very reasonable too. We found the information that they had put together invaluable, Asda was only a short drive away as advised. We will definitely be back for another break as we ran out of time to see and do all the things we wanted to.

We've just returned from a fortnight's break at Cosawes and we really can't rate it highly enough.
We arrived on a Sunday to find that the warden had moved us to a bigger pitch ( as a large group had cancelled). We have a large Cabanon Aruba frame tent with bedroom annexe and this fitted perfectly. We were on pitch 52 which gets bathed in sunshine in the morning and is then in shade after midday ; keeping the tent cool for sleeping. This pitch also has a fresh water tap next to the electric hook up points. The pitches are kept mown at the perfect length and the site is immaculate. As previously stated, the toilet/shower block is first class and the best that we have experienced in many years of camping. There are family shower facilities down stairs ( we were told by a regular that the upstairs facilities were better )and plenty of showers for the men & women. I was personally in there early doors ( 06. 30)when the cleaner was just finishing) so never had a problem. They are kept scrupulously clean and have rightly won awards for them. There were 6( I think) sinks in the under cover washing up area, which again, were kept very clean. The laundrette has two washing machines (£3 per load)and one tumble drier (£2 per load); both of these were very good although the free iron wasn't so good. If you have a caravan, the hard standing pitches look very good and have an elevated view of the rest of the park. The site office is open from 8 til 1 where we found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. You can buy pre paid WiFi ( supplied by ClubWiFi. Co. Uk) cards here (£24 for a multi-device card for 1 week), whilst this came in helpful for finding out local information, the WiFi was unpredictable and would often log out. Do try out the carvery at the nearby Norway Inn, it is very good. The site is nearer to Falmouth than Truro but is a superb base to see take in all the wonders Cornwall has to offer ( approx 45 mins to Lands End). If you want decent cider, take a trip to The Lizard Cider Barn, this is a bit rough and ready but the cider is far superior to the commercial Healeys. There is a big Tesco's at Truro, a big Asda at Falmouth and a big Sainsbury's at Helston (next door to Flambards). Make use of the leaflets available which get you cheap offers and return trips for free. Do pre book the Eden Project and the zip wire above the Bio-Sphere's ( if you dare) to save on long queues ; Tescos club card tickets allow you to jump the queue too!All in all, we would thoroughly recommend this site if you are looking for a quieter break. There are no noisy play parks ( which wasn't a problem to our 10 & 6 year old), swimming pools, arcades, just beautiful woods and countryside and a plethora of wildlife including buzzards, kingfishers & rabbits. Our only criticism would be that if you are on pitches 51-55 there can be car access problems if the little pitches (48-44) are occupied, the owners are aware of this and no doubt re-configure the pitches in the near future. If you are touring Cornwall, you won't be disappointed with this site!

First class site, all facilities in the toilet block were excellent. I do feel that the shower timer would be better set for double the time to avoid frequent pushing of the button. The shower itself was excellent with perfect temperature ( I was in early ) from the first push. It may be best to advise the managers of your caravan/motorhome size, some of the premium pitches appeared to be very tight. This was my first experience of a UK premium pitch and I was very happy not to have to cart water, especially considering the April showers ! Location would be hard to beat, pleasant views from pitch 16 when parked parallel to the road with adequate space for the awning and room for the car in front of the caravan. Pitch 16 is probably the easiest of all to reverse into. Touring the Peninsula is very easy from Cosawes whether you are a Coves, Villages and Rivers type or like National Trust and English Heritage type buildings and gardens, it is all within easy reach.

Stayed on this site for 4 nights. It is set in a beautiful wooded valley. Very excellent dog walking field close by, a real bonus. The site is very well laid out with more than adequately sized pitches. We had a fully serviced hard standing pitch.
The shower and toilet block is excellent. Toilets and showers are upstairs but it also has ground floor toilets too, all immaculately clean and tidy. There are dish washing facilities (but only one sink was available to use at the time of our visit) and a launderette.
Appx 1 mile away is the Norway Inn which serves the most excellent food. The pub/restaurant is very old & has a wonderful atmospheric charm. Sunday lunch is a MUST!
Truro is only a couple of miles away and has a great range of shops and restaurants. A visit to Truro isn't complete without a visit to the Cathedral!
The ONLY draw back to Cosawes is the apparent large number of 'seasonal/residential' (??) caravans on the site which come with all the paraphernalia of semi permanent living. But this does not detract from the fact that this is a very good site to stay on. We will definitely chose this site in the future.

Tent, 2 people, 1 car. £13 pn
This site is really well maintained and looked nice on first impression.
The site seemed busy with a lot caravans and motorhomes.
Toilets/showers and washing up facilities were spotless all the time. They won an award for the best loos in 2011. I can see why. The showers were really nice with free hot water
Location wise. They are in between Falmouth and Truro. For us this was great as we planned to visit both these places, however local shops etc are not close
They have WiFi but not sure on the price. I could pick up the signal though.
Being winter they didn't place us on the camping field as it would be too windy for us.
The surrounding area is really nice. Check out Healeys Cider Farm. Brilliant! with free tastings!
Staff were very friendly.
Shop was well stocked
They have washing up facilities and laundry room.
The local pub 'The Norway Inn' is about a mile away. The food is really high standard with big portions! Take a torch as no lighting off the main road.
There was a main road near but you couldn't hear the noise.
I would definitely use this site again.

Lovely quiet site, few hundred yards from main road but was peaceful for most of stay.
Although we did have a noisy neighbour but that is not the owners fault.
Good location and we enjoyed lots of great days out and we were very lucky with the weather.
We had a level grass pitch. Facilities are okay not brilliant but not hideous either. At the end of the day you are camping and I don't expect to be kept in luxury as roughing it a bit is part of the fun.
Would go back to this site again if we were to holiday in that part of England again.

Very well maintained campsite.
Hard standing pitches with full services, also grass pitches with electric hook up.
Very clean toilet block with hot water all times of the day.
Good access to many Cornish towns Falmouth, Truro, Lizard peninsula, Redruth and Cambourne.
Quiet location good 300 metres from main road but heard no traffic noise through out stay.
One of the best sites I have stayed on defo use it again enjoyed my stay.
Good value for money.
People with dog need to keep them tied up as you will be told off, but that is the rules of the campsite. There is a dog exercise area.

Just back from our visit to Cosawes and have to say what a wonderful site it is. First class service, first class facilities and location wonderful. Great value for money, everything you need for a basic camp, ie no shop, no play area, just the great outdoors with excellent wash facilities. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Nearby are plenty of places for your everyday needs. Garage up the road, Asda a bit further, Tesco the other direction but all within a short driving distance. Nothing really within walking distance. Couple of pubs also providing hot meals. On a Wednesday night, a fish and chip van visits the site which is very reasonably priced and extremely tasty!

We stayed at Cosawes for 8 night’s and would use this site again. It was ideal location for travailing around the Cornish coastal towns and villages due to its location on the A39. The site itself is a small site. It seems new and work was still been done during are stay. There is a camping field, and a hard standing caravan area. We were on the hard standing caravan pitch that unlike others we have stayed on in the past we had no problem’s pegging the awning out which was very easy to do, the stones used were small and did not hurt your feet when walking on them. The site has new toilet / shower block that was very clean although there was a small problem with the showers that flooded but work was been done to solve this and when that work is completed they will be excellent. The site lay out is very good but would avoid pitches 1 / 2 / 25 as they are awkward and small but all other pitches are large and well spaced out and were full service pitches with TV point/ drinking water / waste water disposal / electric point and a light that made for a easy life and a relaxing holiday. The site fees are very reasonable which l hope will stay that way in the future now the work on the site as been completed as that was one of the main reasons we picked this site. There not much for the children other than the use of adjacent fields to play on but this added to the quietness of the site and the kids enjoyed there stay as a result. The staff are very friendly with a very warm welcome and we wish them good luck for the future and look forward to staying there again next year.
