After 27 years back to Upton Manor Farm. The most warmest welcome awaited us. The long journey from Holland to Brixham makes you tired and feeling welcome makes you a happy camper. The campsite is very nice and the amenities are perfect and spotless. On the campsite are enough watertaps and electricity hookups. We were given all the information we needed. About the nice towns to visit: Dartmouth, take the steamtrain from Churston; Totnes, beautiful little town with nice shops. Brixham is a nice old beautiful little harbourtown. Nice to walk around and good places to eat.
Upton Manor Farm is close to St Mary's beach. Walk down to the towncentre in 10 minutes, up again a bit longer. You can make very nice walks starting from the campsites. We had a very good time walking in this environment.
All with all is this the best campsite to stay. Especially with such a good and professional team.
Thanks for your hospitality and we will be back again.

Our second visit to Upton Manor and we were not disappointed. We thoroughly enjoy our visits here and were lucky enough to be here for Brixfest. The facilities are excellent as usual and we loved our nightly walk into Brixham town. Staff are always very helpful and friendly lending us tools when we needed them. The site is an excellent place to explore different places and the public transport links are excellent from Brixham town centre. We loved it and will be going back again.

If what you are looking for when visiting Brixham and the surrounding area is an immaculate site, overlooked by countryside and hills, peaceful, lovely walks, a five or six minute walk to the beach, and a very warm welcome by the wardens (and nothing is too much trouble for them), then Upton Manor is perfect. We have been visiting the site for 7 years or more now and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in the area. You will find that quite a few people staying there are regulars who return year after year. The showers and toilets are always spotlessly clean. The site also has laundry facilities complete with ironing boards, washing up facilities, in fact everything you need. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into Brixham and a bit longer coming back as it's mostly uphill!. We would have no hesitation in recommending this site - oh, and the prices are reasonable too and worth every penny!

Having just returned from Upton Manor Farm and the delight that is Brixham.
The site directions are spot on. Follow them not your sat nav.
A warm welcome awaits you there.
Check in was good and professional. The site was quiet and though we had picked a hedge pitch we had our choice of them. Facilities are clean and well maintained.
Well situated for Brixham. 20 min walk about 1 mile. A steady downhill walk
Good bus services to Kingswear, Paignton and Totnes. Caught the ferry to Torquay. Only a pound each way. Bargain.
Lots of places to eat and drink in Brixham. The Prince William gets the best of the afternoon sun.
The coastal path around Berry Head to Brixham is a nice steady walk. 3 miles.
All in all a good visit and site.

We booked this site for the brixham pirate festival
Very friendly on checking in, camp site was well run the facilities were very clean and well maintained, very easy to find thanks to the details provided, about a twenty min walk to the town, a bit more coming back because of the hill, pubs and restaurants in town, mobile pizza van comes to site cant wait for next year, ( a little less rain and wind please)

Just back from visiting the Pirate Weekend in Brixham staying at Upton Manor campsite. This must be our fourth visit to this site and little has changed. It was of course busy this weekend and it would have been helpful for everyone if the pitches were marked out better. There were tents rammed up against caravans and motor homes. We luckily had a hedge pitch ( a little more expensive) this means there was lots of room around us, only downside was that we had the second only water tap on our pitch!
Good thing about the site is that it is only a walk into Brixham. A good uphill walk back to the site though but inexpensive taxis from town. We had a lovely walk along to Sharkham point, only 15 minutes from the campsite.
Decent clean toilets and showers too but we used the shower on board our motor home as when the campsites busy there's bit of a wait.
Just feel that with a little money spent on hardstanding and demarcated pitches this could be an excellent site instead of an average one. I'm sure we will return again just for convenience sake

Hi, I tend to read peoples reviews so guess I should write also. Just had really nice stay at this site. Very friendly and helpful owners. And nice clean well looked after site. Showers and toilets cannot really fault. Nice hot water and again clean and maintained. Easy walk into town but uphill to walk back. But bus or taxi easy options. Would visit again and recommend to friends and family. Ok just few problems. Nothing to do with site but Sat Nav did send me everywhere before finally finding it. So should have paid heed to directions instead of the wonderful world of technology. And roads in to Newton abbot a nightmare due to new roads being constructed. Wish had looked at other routes. All in all nice place though give it a try :)

My partner and I love Brixham so were really looking forward to our stay. This is a very well maintained site with excellent facilities, always spotless showers and toilets. Disappointingly on one night of our stay a family staying in a tent opposite us experienced noise and verbal abuse from 3 large groups in tents next to theirs (we witnessed this abuse). Informing us the owners of the site had said they had paid there money so there wasn't anything they can do. Shame really as although their website says no groups of young people it seems to allow groups of rowdy large families.
A suggestion if you do walk to Brixham from the site, take your car half way down the hill where you can park for free as the hill is a killer going back up.

We stayed here in August and had a wonderful time. The owners of the site a very very friendly and helpful and assisted us with all questions we asked mainly to do with public transport. The shower block was lovely and clean and warm and the site itself was spotless. We took a walk into St Mary's town where there is a lovely park, shops and takeaways all within a 5 minute walk and it took about 20 minutes to walk to Brixham which is a gorgeous little town. Bus routes from Brixham are excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are going back next year.

After vacating Scotland after Hurricane Bertha we arrived at this camp site. We had a warm welcome and we were shown to our pitch. Rather small but the campsite was not too busy so it was fine. Even after a lot of rain the pitch was good which was a plus as basically sited in a field. Easy downhill walk to Brixham town. Rather tiring coming home but a good bus service operates until five and taxis are reasonable. Also short walk to St Marys bay. Toilet, shower blocks adequate.
We will visit again. A lovely restful spot after a not so good start to our holiday
