Arrival date 29th May we stayed 7 nights and had a special deal that you only paid for 6, great start to our holidays. There are two areas one which seems to have seasonal pitches and the odd tourer at the front near the lower Bann river and one through the back, if you want one of these the warden will do his best to get you one if there is space. All pitches are near the shower block and toilets. The shower cubicles which was a great idea, the whole family could go in at once, lots of room, the only thing I would have liked was a mop and bucket to enable me and of course the previous occupants to wash the floor after ourselves. This was a very peaceful site, one night whilst out walking around the site we seen a beautiful badger, what a fantastic sight. The shops are 3 miles away in Ballymoney town, everything you would need. We visited the Giant's Causeway, Bushmills whiskey distillery, Ballycastle, Portrush. What a great relaxing holiday. The wardens were very helpful and friendly. We will be back.:)

We thought this site was absolutely brilliant. Really quiet private area which was kept very clean & tidy. All pitches were close to one of the well kept toilet blocks and the site was very easy to find.
We were in a tent so we found it quite difficult to get an area slightly more private but we found a quiet spot nonetheless.
One thing I will say is that when we were leaving the next day we had to wait 20 minutes to hand in our keys and get our deposit back as there was no one in the office, which wouldn't have been great if we were in a hurry.
I would definitely return to this site again, brilliant facilities, situated about 3 miles from Ballymoney town where there's plenty of shopping & things to do.

One of the best sites in NI (in my opinion). A well laid out site with fully serviced pitches. The toilet blocks are always clean with separate family shower rooms with free hot showers. The pitches are level and have hardstanding and plenty of room for an awning.
The site is secure with a keypad lock on the entrance gate and a padlocked barrier into the site. You need to pay a refundable £5 deposit for the keys for the barrier, the toilet block and sluice
There are walks through the trees and along the river Bann. There are picnic benches along the river and you can sit and watch the water sports on the river.
The wardens are very friendly and helpful. There is a great kids playpark with pitches close by for families so you can keep an eye on your little darlings, and at the office the wardens have a 'mini sweet shop' for the kids with sweets, chocolate and ice-creams for sale.
Some of the pitches are seasonal and apparently there is a long waiting list for these. The site is owned by Ballymoney Council and is a credit to them. It is advisable to book and this year they have been asking for 50% deposit or, if your booking falls over a bank holiday, full deposit by return of post. This is to stop people block booking weekends and then just not turning up.
You are about halfway between the towns of Ballymoney and Coleraine (approx. 4miles to each)both of which have good shops, supermarkets, cafes and bars. You are also not far from the beautiful Antrim Coast Road and all its attractions including Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy Harbour, Giants Causeway etc.
The site is quiet and peaceful, amongst trees and with views of the river, so if this is your thing there is no better place. And, finally, if you have your sat dish with you, there is a good signal here!

What a site, surely one of the best sites in Northern Ireland. Facilities are clean, modern and well thought out. Great size shower rooms, plenty of toilets and always smell fresh.
The wardens have to be the friendliest of all wardens in NI. They can't do enough for you with a great sense of humour. The small shop is a great hit for the kids, play park has recently had new fencing making it very secure for the little ones. The picnic tables overlooking the river are ideal for a early evening super watching the activity on the river.
Cannot make one negative comment on this site other than it can be hard to get booked during the summer. You have to see it for yourself.

Excellent site would recommend to everyone.Family friendly, great atmosphere, wonderful location 4 miles to Ballymoney or 4 miles to Coleraine. The wardens are people friendly and maintain the site to a very high standard. You can watch the Kids in the Playground area or you can watch the boats on the River Bann. All sites are fully serviced. Hope to stay there again soon.

This is one of the best sites in N.Ireland and deserves to be highly recommended. However you do need to book as it is very popular. Excellent facilities and pitches and on the banks of the River Bann where there are watersports. It is a touring site with no static vans and has about 50 pitches and is run by the local Ballymoney Council.
