Really great site. Staff helpful and friendly(just as well, as we needed a fuse for the caravan, and luckily they had one!).Toilets are the best we have ever come across, nice, clean, cosy, warm and secure. You need tokens for the showers and hot water at the washing up area; 40p for 4 mins, so get showered fast! Tourer pitches are great.Great site for taking walks. Make sure you go fully stocked with all you need though, as the main shops/chemists are a long drive away. However the shop on site has a great stock of everyday items and a small selection of food, can be a bit pricey though. There are some lovely hotels in St.Fillans and Killan where you can have lunch/dinner etc. Scenery is amazing(and thats without sun!)Great for water sports. Just wished we could have stayed longer! Going back as soon as we can.

Tried this site as it was close to reletives in St Fillans and wasn't disappointed. It mainly caters for statics and being right on the loch shore it has a big appeal among watersports and fishermen.
I'm not normally a fan of "pay for a shower" or "lock and key toilets" however they work well here as it keeps the static owners and kids out of the toilet block. The result of this is they are spotlessly clean and little used (as there are few touring pitches and even these are mostly there for the season)!
The shop is excellent and well stocked, the bar on site is OK and does an edible plate of food. Most of the pitches are 'super' pitches and located on gravel - they are pretty close togther and dont occupy the choicest loch side locations, however the surroundings, once you step outsdie your van more than make up for it. The satellite TV pug in on your water point was a bonus too, however each service point covers 3 pitches so you may need very long cable and fresh water pipes to take full advantage.
Slight downside, there is no specific dog walking area which means a stroll up the road - albeit very light on traffic. The laundry is very expensive, 70p for 6 mins in a dryer (the next site we went to was £1 for 40 mins!).
Off site St fillans is about a mile away and walkable. The Achray Hotel does the best food in the area and popular with locals so book.

Great site great location for hillwalking or water sports. Friendly staff well stocked shop and toilet and shower facilities clean and warm. There is a small pub on site with bar meals breakfasts etc and some evening entertainment. There is also a small children's play area on site.
