Stayed here in the summer holidays, what a fantastic site, the approach road to the site is a bit narrow but the warden assured us there had never been a problem, the wardens were friendly and informative, we had a hard standing pitch which was big enough for the van, awning and car. The toilets were spotless, we did have to wait in the evening for a shower but not for too long. In the evenings it was very quiet only the sound of the sea. Would consider going back next year for summer hols.

This is a lovely peaceful site in a valley with an extensive nature walk / dog walk and lots of wildlife including rabbits, many types of birds and wild flowers. Perranporth and Newquay are within easy reach by car and there are many walks from the site through countryside and along the coast path. The wardens are very friendly and helpful and the facilities excellent as is usual for a C Club site. The only drawback (probably an advantage to some people!) was due to the location there was no mobile phone coverage and the public telephone on site was out of order for most of our stay. Tv requires a booster cable. There is a small shop at the top of the drive and supermarkets in Newquay. There is a children's play area on site but overall it is a quiet location and more likely to appeal to adults.

Visited the site for the last Bank Holiday Weekend in May.
Caravan Club sites are usually very good, but this is probably the best one we have been to.
The warden was very friendly and helpful, the toilet block was spotlessly clean and the site is very well organised.
We cycled in to Newquay on two occassions, took about 20 mins, but main road was quite busy.
Some lovely walks around the site.
Will definitely return again.

Just returned from a lovely week at Treamble, first time at a Caravan Club site and the standards were as to be expected (excellent).
Site is on a slight incline and not for the less mobile but with stunning views over the country side and close to Newquay and other beaches an excellent location.
The wardens very friendly and helpful, will return next year.

Where do I start. This is a very nice site if it is dry! Beware if it rains as the ground tends to get boggy as it was previously a quarry and there is no natural land drainage. The pitch we had, number 27, was mid way but it flooded due to a dip in the ground. Wardens are very helpful and office / shop is convenient. Piping hot / scalding water, beware. Only one toilet block which can be a hike for those pitched on the lower levels.

A really lovely site with little glades with a small number of pitches or a larger field ideal for games. We pitched next to the great play area, so it was a bit noisy up to 11pm and then all quiet. Usual high CC standards, but with some personality. There is a shower to rinse wetsuits which was really useful. The dog walk is mown and carefully kept, wardens were friendly and helpful. There is a CL with an excellent and well stocked shop at the top of the drive, and a small shop on site too. We found the best family beach was at Perranporth with good loos and parking. Steep steps to the beach not for the faint hearted and the site itself is on a steep slope. Again I would say not for the less than able, but there are some pitches near to the loo blocks and laundry in the centre of the site which would be appropriate. There are a number of relatively well behaved teenagers on the site, so the atmosphere tended to be relaxed - the surf must attract them to put up with their parents for a week or so - so if you hate kids, don't go!

Lovely site with one only toilet block although it is very good and clean as you would expect from CC sites. Very good dog walk on site but also footpaths leading from the site to some lovely walks and a very nice pub. Reception has a list of walks for a donation of 20p to charity. Newspapers can be ordered but there is a delivery price as well. Fish and chip man calls once a week and a local man sells strawberries twice a week. A butcher comes 3 times a week. The Caravan Club is undertaking a nature study amongst selected sites this year and this site was one of the chosen few. You were asked to make a note of birds, insects and mammals seen on the site and suggest ways of encouraging more. Bird life was quite good although at this time of year birds tended to be heard rather than seen. Site is very sloping and although a lot of effort has been made to level areas you will need van levelers in some places. Some pitch sizes seemed quite large whereas others felt somewhat squashed and there was a tendency to have caravans all in long lines in parts of the site. Other areas were smaller and had a more select feel. Site was very busy when we were there and booking is advisable. Recommended

Stayed here for one night only as a stopover before travelling further. Site up to usual Caravan Club standards. TV and mobile phone reception is non existant but a TV hook up facility is available (25m leads on sale for £10 in reception). Pitches are slightly sloping and are cut into hillside. Site is on a hillside so you will get fit. Not advised for the less mobile amongst us.
