 Went on bottom field. Nice guy said, carry on, pay tomorrow. Field nice and flat. We didn't need EHU so pitched. Spotless toilet and shower blocks.Toilet rolls, soap provided. Up to date, cleaned very regularly. One wash up sink for campers, hot and cold water. Place for waste disposal at side.
Lovely scenery around, about 5 mins up the road to main high street and shops. Just a little further to beach. Would definitely go again. Big change from previous reviews. Check them out.

My whole family took their caravans and tents to Pall Mall in July 2009. (Wedding of grandaughter)_ We were late booking and really enjoyed 4 nights stay.
The site was full of friendly campers, so we camped on the rally field. (Which meant 100 yards to toilet and shower ((Free)) block. No problem though.
The owners were very accommodating and we were made to feel very welcome.
Definitely will go to Pall Mall again.

Just returned from a weekend away where we stayed at this site, 2 adults 1 dog 2 man tent.
First thing we picked up on they were very laid back, 'find a space on the field and if you want to stay come and see us later (pay). Well the field looked as if it hadn't been mowed for weeks but we persevered and because we wanted electric hook-up we ended up crunched up between 2 tourers.
Half way through setting up I needed the loo so walked up dirt track to the toilets (of which there were plenty} but no loo roll provided! Back to the tent I went to get some tissue, then when I came out the loo I couldn't find anywhere to wash my hands on asking I had to go next door to the ladies (shower block) then. No soap! So take note, bring your own. Anyway to cut this long story short, the track to the toilets had no lighting, so if you're just in a tent take a good torch.
There is a washing up sink but they've cut off the hot water. There is no mop to clean the shower after you so they're soapy, and slippy. There was a shower out of order as a lady hurt her foot on a broken tile but the owner said we could use it just be careful. I find £4 for e/h for an overnight stay expensive and just for a 2 man tent.

Just been here only for a short stay over the weekend. Nice lady on arrival told us which field,tents on the side where children's play area is. Bit dodgy as it by main gateway onto field so beware if small ones about. Nice clean toilets but unfortunately no paper no holder either so pockets full of your own. Nice hot power showers but only two in ladies (these are included in pitch price) Also there is no washing up sink so you will have to do it in tent. Lvel site surrounded by trees but basic and no club. It is about a 5 minute drive to the beach passing Spar and a Co Op, and cinema. Beware of stinging weaver fish on beach. Found a castle ruin nearby and stunning waterfalls.
