We have stayed at this site many times over about 20 years and seen it slowly develop and improve. This is a quiet site with campers and touring caravans parked around the perimeter and a huge grassy area in the middle for kids and families to play ball etc.It can get a bit breezy at times, so take a kite !
The toilet block is made up of about 5 or 6 large wet rooms, including hot showers WCs and basins, which are ideal for families or disabled. This is always kept clean.
There is a dairy farm attached and sometimes the cows can get noisy, but that's what you get in the country.
Close by are walks to the beautiful coast, or the nearby common, with its orchids and wildlife. Solva and St Davids are within easy reach by car or bicycle, with plenty of shops for provisions.
Many visitors to this site are regulars and you can understand why, although young people expecting lots of activity may find the area a little bit low key - unless you enjoy fantastic walking, horse riding, surfing etc.
The owners, the Jamieson family are very kind and lovely people, who keep a low profile but do their best for their customers.

A nice flat park with clean facilities, large family shower rooms and plenty of toilets: this is needed as there can be queues at peak times.
Due to the size of the park, they possibly need to have a few extra showers, queued for 45 minutes on one occasion, and then we had barely warm water.
Overall a nice park well laid out, it was pretty wet during our stay and it is all grass so it did get quite muddy, but I suppose this is to be expected.

We found this site by accident as it was the only one in the area which could provide us with with an EHU pitch at short notice. There's not much detail available about this site so here's a brief description. It has one big field split in two by a hedge and has its pitches only around the outside. This means there are big open spaces in the middle for the children - and adults - to play without becoming a nuisance. When it comes to facilities, they are first class with spotless toilets and showers, a family room, a laundry and washing-up facilities, with all hot water included in the fee. The site is just a few miles from the coast with some superb beaches within easy reach, some of which are dog-free in the summer. Although the site doesn't have a shop, around four miles away, in Britain's smallest city, St David's, there is now a decent supermarket which sells all the necessities as well as having the Cathedral and Bishop's Palace to visit. This is a quiet, peaceful site well worth staying at if that's what you want. In fact, we've booked again for this summer.
