What a wonderful site - quiet, on the edge of a beautiful town. The site has all the practical facilities you need and wonderful size pitches.

The owners/managers were incredibly helpful even before we arrived, contacting the local vet for us to determine an appointment for our dog and the cost and advising on the local attractions.

The EHU, water and service points were very easy to use through great diagrams that meant a knowledge of the French language was not necessary. It is a 15 min walk from the most amazing beach! We will definitely be returning!

The ease of access to the site is a definate bonus, just 1hr30mins from Calais, straight down the A16 - brilliant.

Great little campsite - brilliantly located for Le Touquet beach and bars / restaurants -

pitches spacious and the owner very welcoming -

he will insist on photocopying pet passport which we did not encounter anywhere else -

showers clean but a little basic, only 3 loos and 4 showers but never had to wait,

the site is mostly statics, so very peaceful -

there is a small nature reserve surrounding it so perfect for walking the dogs,

there is a bus stop outside which runs into town hourly - it is a good 10 min walk, but pleasant -

definitely worth considering as an overnight stop on route from Calais, as it is 45 mins away -

expensive for what is on offer, but Le Touquet is an expensive area.

Nice site we spent 5 nights there this August, basic but the toilets were always clean & tidy, the access roads to the pitches are narrow and I wouldn't have got my twin axle onto the pitch or off again with out the motor mover.

Le Touquiet is very expensive to eat out but if you want a more reasonable meal head to Etaples about 3 miles away. Reception closes between 12 & 2 pm so if you arrive inbetween those times you will have to wait in the car park. Entrance & exit barriers are a bit narrow, but overall a nice friendly site.

We have just returned from this site having spent a glorious weekend there. The camp is clean and well situated, it takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach. The reception staff were more than helpful and let us put 2 tents an awning a campervan and a car on my pitch! The pitches are 100 m2 and all have hedges around. The camp was full and the toilets and showers were spotless. The only downside is there are only 3 showers so we did have to queue for 5 minutes. There is a children's playground which is basic but great fun, a games room and most important a chip van from 5 til 7 each night who also does a range of hot paninis. There is a well stocked grocery van that comes each day. We ordered baguettes and croissants which were waiting for us at breakfast. In all an excellent site in a beautiful place

Spent two nights here during a French bank holiday weekend and the place was packed and had a good atmosphere. The pitches are of good size and the EHU is the same as the UK. The toilet block was a tad dated but ok. Not the cheapest campsite but the whole area is chic and costly! Would I go back, no. Its worth a look though as the beach is good.

Stayed there for a couple of nights in October 2007, only an hour or so from Calais. Agree that it is expensive compared to other sites, good laundry and toilet/shower facilities, but nothing else. Going back this year for a weekend, they've been very helpful with English e mails when booking. Lots of seasonal pitches there, didn't feel too crowded, but it was October ! La Touquet is a lovely place . . . . Easy cycle or walk into town . . . Great walks on the very long beach, lovely town. Worth a visit.

I thought this site was quite expensive for what facilities they offered. It was an ideal location as it was a stroll into the town or down to the beach. A free bus stopped outside the the campsite for those less active and ran every 30 mins.

There was a small play area for children but that was about it. Bread was available between 8.30 and 9.00am although we never quite made it in time!

It was very hot when we stayed there and the toilets were quite smelly by the end of the day although they were very clean in a morning so it was probably just the heat.

Le Touquet itself was lovely (although VERY expensive) lots of lovely places to eat.

The pitches were a decent size and had a hedge around each for privacy. It was a normal (english type) hookup
