This was our first stay at a Caravan Club CL and was pleasantly surprised! All the pitches are hardstanding, have EHU and their own water point. There is also a small toilet block near by that was clean and warm. The greeting by the owners was welcoming and informative. You can see the traffic of the M5 from the site but we did not find the noise intrusive. The site is easy to find from the M5 and is also close to Burnham on Sea. All in all a great site and my only disappointment is why we have not been there before!

This is a lovely quiet park, if you ask you can obtain a site right next to the river. The pitches have electric hook-up and easy access to water tap. The location is idyllic, near to Highbridge in Somerset (5 minutes in car) but in the countryside. There is a little motorway noise from the M6 in the distance but this does not affect the quality of your holiday.

There is one male and one female toilet and shower. Kept clean and tidy. As it is a small site the demand on these is low and there is always plentiful hot water. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer plus ironing facilities for an extra charge.

There is fishing on site but children need to be watched carefully, dogs are allowed and there is a lovely walk down the site to open land where a dog can be exercised.

The road on the site follows the old Somerset and Dorset (Burnham Branch) Railway and Glastonbury Tor can be seen from the site.

Days out include Weston Super Mare, Fleet Air Arm Museum at RNAS Yeovilton, West Somerset Railway, Clarks shopping Village at Street, Bath, Wells and various National Trust properties. A little further afield is Exmoor National Park.

The owners live on site and are very helpful, Gas is sold on site and the site has a security entrance gate.

We decided we needed a bit of fresh air at short notice and visited the site on reading the info on the site page.

On arrival the daughter of the owner greeted us, gave us a pitch at short notice and was very polite and helpful. She told us to set up and sort out payment in the morning as it was getting late. The site itself was beautiful, next to a field with donkeys and cows. The caravan part of the site was very nice, next to the river Brue. Very dry, good drainage, It rained for one night and the ground was not wet, it is quite a new camping field. Nearly each pitch had a drinking water tap.

The site has fresh free range eggs for sale.

We stayed 3 nights and it is probably the best camping I ever did, peaceful, not busy, relaxing, clean, tidy and well managed. Will definitely visit there again-soon!
