Gem of a site, owners are very friendly and helpful. Great walks - we walked to Ash and back to the site then down the road to a walk around the Mere. Very quiet site with good access and loads of space. Try the White Lion in Ash, lovely food. We are both early 60,s and the site suits us down to the ground. The owner is very dog friendly. Toilet block and shower areas are kept very clean and tidy. Owner will order freshly laid eggs from local farmer which are very reasonable and very tasty. You won't be let down here

We came here in August 2009 to learn to set up our caravan.

It was quiet and peaceful, beautiful countryside. Only two other caravans on site and they were couples.

Nothing for the kids to do and no one to play with but we had a whole field to ourselves so played lots of ball games.

Owners were really helpful. We arrived late evening after getting lost down the road, owners waited for us shining a light. Really helpful, thank you.

Nice walks in local area.

Toilets basic, but adequate.

Just got back from a weekend at bramblewood camp site.

The site is situated down a single track road and is very small and quiet compared to other sites.

We stayed on the rally field with other families and the other field was for couples without kids.

We found the site not to be very child friendly really as the owner doesn't allow any ball games on site and there is no facilities for children to play and the children have to be escorted everywhere.

The facilities on site are small but well maintained and cleaned on a very regular basis.

There is one building for toilets, showers and dish washing they consisted of 1 small mens toilet and 3 womens toilets but there is a window that opens at the top between the womens toilet and the dishwashing be warned. There is also 1 shower which is located in back of the dish washing room and is unlocked via a key that you pay 50p for and you hand back to the owner at the end of your shower but it can be very crampt to enter if someone is washing dishes at the same time as you want to shower.

The dish washing facilities were meant to be used for tents only but we found caravan owners used this as well but never had to queue.

There is hot water in the dish wash via a small boiler that has to be turned on at least 5-10 mins before use, this can be rather annoying if you leave it on to heat up and someone else uses the water.

The site also actively encourages recycling on site and also supplies bins and recycling boxes to each pitch.

The rally field itself was on a slight slope.

The site comes complete with ehu included in the price.

The total price for the bank holiday weekend was £13 a night that was for 2 adults £5 each and 3 kids £1 each we thought that was brilliant value concidering the ehu was included.

Visitors pay 50p a day to visit and £1 per visitors cars all procedes go to charity.

Visitors are only allowed on site between 11am and 7pm.

Also well behaved dogs are allowed for free

Within 5 mins walking distance is a nature reserve so excellent walking for dogs and whitchurch is within 5 mins drive from the camp.

The lady owner couldn't have been nicer and really went the extra mile to make you feel welcome.

In our view the site was ideal as a base camp for days out to the follies etc or as a couple wanting a quiet site to relax but would not recommend it if you have children as there is nothing to do there and they may get bored.

Have actually stayed here twice, once in July 2006 and in March this year and would recommend it as the ideal stopover if travelling to North Wales (or to Holyhead for Ireland) on the A41, as well as a base for touring this part of north Shropshire / south Cheshire.

It is very quiet and peaceful with manicured lawns, has ehu, 2 loos and a shower room (extra charge), but this is closed in the winter months. The owner, Mrs. Mary Thompson is an extremely friendly lady.

It's the perfect site if you want to get away from it all, but Whitchurch is only about 2 miles away, has supermarkets, plenty of pubs and interesting old buildings. Brown Moss nature reserve is at the end of the lane, and Hawkstone Park and Follies down the A49 towards Shrewsbury.
