Along with my three young children we spent 7 days here in August. I was looking for somewhere that was quieter than the really busy ones you can find closer to the beach but also somewhere that we were close enough for the kids. This was just perfect! It is clean, friendly, lovely modern toilets and showers and very clean. We were just a 5 minute drive to Weston-Super-Mare, Brean and Burnham-On-Sea and just a 5 minute walk away was a lovely playground for the kids and a cute country pub for us!You are just 20 minutes from Cheddar Gorge & Caves and 35 minutes from the lovely cathedral city of Wells.
The hosts are also lovely, when we found out we had forgotten a lead, they lent us one, so really very lovely.
If you are looking for a getaway that is away from the hustle and bustle but close enough for day trips then this is perfect for you.

We stayed at this site for 5 nights in August. We had with us our three children and three dogs. The owner of the site was one of the most helpful and friendliest you could ever hope to meet. The toilets and shower block was very clean and there were three loos in each as well as one shower in each.
There was an outside dishwashing area but only with cold water so could only be used to rinse dishes really.
I couldn't recommend the site for dog owners as it really is a struggle to find somewhere to walk them, the only place being the lane outside the site which is fairly busy and doesn't have a pavement.
There is no road noise but the site is farly close to the railway line, trains coming past roughly 2 an hour.
I really didn't like the site, I know it was august but you felt very cramped on the site whilst some of the pitches were hardstanding (gravel) they were very tatty. Wiring to the hook up points were laying on the ground and where the gravel had moved away the drain pipes were showing. The thing I found the most annoying was, as the name would apply its a working garden nursery, at roughly 7.30 lorries would pull up just behind the caravans and start having soil loaded by a digger which was very noisy.
Its worth noting there really isn't anywhere for the children to play, ball games aren't allowed so it can only be used as a base really if you have youngish children.
Overall, lovely loo's, nice owner and cheap at £13.00 per night but that's about it.

Fantastic camping site, this was our second visit within a month to this site. Very friendly and helpful man nothing was to much trouble for him. Very clean and tidy facilities and lovely hot showers. This is a small and friendly camp site which is ideal for a relaxing break away from all the hussle and bussle of everyday life.
The surrounding areas are great and everything was within a short distance away whichever way you go. We found Brean beach and Weston Super Mare beach within a ten minute drive away.
We would highly recommend this site to anyone and will will continue to stay here in the future. Our boxer dog loved it too !
