This is an absolutely cracking little site, Adults only, flat well mown pitches, 1st class toilets and showers. The site owner/administrator lives on site and is helpful and knowledgeable. There are only ten pitches but well spread out so units are not jammed in on top of one another. The ground is well drained and despite prolonged heavy rain during our stay there was no problem with mud. I can't recommend it highly enough. Ask about the direction of the prevailing wind though, we had high winds on day two and the tent was flat at one point, better siting by us would have avoided that though.
Will we be back? You bet we will.

Just returned from a lovely 2 night stay at this campsite, even the pouring rain didn't spoil our time there! It's a fairly small site with 15 pitches, some with electric hook up. The owners live on site and are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The shower/toilet facilities are spotlessly clean and modern, and there's a cold water washing up area in the middle of the site along with a fire pit & barbecue area. The site is also a Holistic & Equestrian centre, and it was nice to see the horses in the fields just behind the camping area. With it being on the A49 there was traffic noise, but it wasn't an issue for us. Also as it is an adults only site it was pleasantly quiet, even in the school holidays! The Pound Inn is a 2 minute walk away and does fantastic food, we went on a Saturday night and it wasn't cheap, but Mon-Thurs they do meal deals. The nearest shop (a Londis convenience store) is about 1.5 miles away in Dorrington. The Ironbridge Gorge Museums are a 40 minute drive away.

We’ve just returned from a 4-night stay at this lovely little, adults-only campsite. There are 15 pitches in total, all flat mown grass, 4 (I think) with EHU. Gill, the owner, lives on site and couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. The site overlooks a hay meadow and horse paddocks.
The facilities are very high quality and kept spotless. There are 2 toilets, one basin and one shower (lovely big cubicle, loads of room for everything) in the ladies and one of each in the gents – all in one room which could get a bit tricky at busy times but there is also a disabled toilet/shower which we understand is unlocked when the site is busy. Showers are free with as much hot water as you like. There is one water tap in the middle of the site, together with the pot-washing sink. This is open-air and there is no hot water there. There is recycling for the usual stuff and a rubbish bin.
It is a very dog-friendly site; Gill has 2 of her own and nobody bothers about the odd woof. The dog walk is a very quiet public footpath along the meadow at the edge of the site, we only ever saw two other dog walkers. The path carries on around corn fields with lovely views.
The pub is 2 minutes walk away along a track and does good food. The tearoom is next door and does lovely cakes and cream teas. Unfortunately dogs are allowed in neither but the pub has a beer garden and the tearoom does take-aways! We heard no noise from the pub at any time.
The site is on the A49 and there is constant traffic noise. We didn’t sleep well on the first night but got used to it after that and then didn’t find it a problem. The buses to Shrewsbury and Ludlow stop a few yards away and the fares were very reasonable. Church Stretton is a very nice town and there are some lovely walks there.
We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return soon.

We are a party of four people with an extremely large tent, (12 man). The first thing we noticed was that this site was very flat.
When we arrived we were met with a friendly smile and plenty of information about the site. We have, as we always do chose electric hook up as we like our comforts with us. We had a lot of difficulty fitting our tent on the pitch that was provided and did over run the next pitch (our fault for having such a big tent) Gill came to see us and we solved our problem by having two pitches. Expensive you may think, but she was so nice, and she threw in the electric free, so we had loads of room to ourselves.
Once we had every thing erected we were able to take in the lovely views. We had a great time there and spent our evenings sitting round our camp fire. If you like horses as we do there were plenty to watch in the fields as this is also a rescue centre. Gill took us round to meet the horses and this was very enlightening.
The site is small but that is great and the fact that it is no under 18's, was an even bigger bonus. It is a tad close to the main road so a little bit of traffic noise was heard, but after a while one did not notice it.
The toilets were excellent, clean and warm, with a great dissabled shower room and toilet. They did not have a shop or washing machine facilities though which would have been nice, but there was a very nice thatched pub just a hop skip and a jump away.
Next to this was a very expensive tea rooms, so unless you have plenty of dosh to throw around don't be temped by their cream teas £9.00 for four cream scones to take away, god only knows what it would cost to eat them on their premisses, but Gill said that we could have got our cup of tea to go with them free as we were camping on this site.
Nothing was too much trouble for Gill and her staff and they even helped out when our little dog was off colour, Which we thought was especially nice. Would we go back to this site? Yes we would and will recommend our friends as well.

Stayed at this 'small but perfectly formed' site on Sat 26th June for 1 night (wished it was longer) but sadly my girlfriend had to work during the day, but next time will head off after work on Fri.
A warm welcome was extended by Gill & the facilities pointed out, which were great & beautifully maintained, the toilet & showers were immaculate.
This site is a little gem & we will certainly be staying there again - a bonus that it's 'no under 18s' -, the views & walks are fabulous too! We walked Caer Caradoc on the Sun (very hot), the views from the top were stunning & can highly recommend this walk. No time to carry on across The Lawley due to the England v Germany game KO at 3pm. Watched by the way just down the road in Dorrington at a lovely pub/restaurant.
