Reviewers - mature couple with campervan and bikes.
We have visited Beaune previously, but didn't manage to find the campsite, so this time we used a satnav, and found it very easily. It is situated on the edge of this busy town, just off the ring road.
The receptionist was very friendly and spoke some English. She checked us in quickly and allocated us a pitch, with a map to enable us to find it. The pitch was off a narrow alleyway with high hedges so was a bit tricky to manoeuvre into, but was plenty big enough once in. The pitch had it's own EHU and a drying post tucked into the hedge. Not all the pitches are small, we saw some drive through ones further down.
The pitches are flat and grassy, and mostly divided by tall hedges so very private. It was quite dark at night, you need a torch.
There are 2 identical sanitary blocks, look quite new. Washing up is inside at the front, then there are separate shower / washrooms for ladies and gents, the toilets are at the back, and are shared by all, and there are no urinals or toilet seats, so not my favourite set up. People were wandering around in confusion looking for the correct facilities. There is a baby room and laundry room, and disabled facilities included.
The cleaner was there in the afternoon, she closed off half at a time.
Further round the site is a playground, BBQ area, and another leisure area at the very back. There is a restaurant on site which we didn't use.
It is a short cycle or walk into the town centre, which has lots of shops, restaurants, and beautiful buildings. The town is at the heart of the Burgundy wine industry.
This is a very busy site used as a stopover, and was quite full by evening.

A great little find! Very busy site, small hard standing pitches right on the edge of town. We loved beaune it's a real gem of a place. The campsite was empty in the day and night just used for resting - the sign of a great place to visit! There was a really good sports complex a few mins away which had in and outdoor pools for the kids. Playground advertised but it looked a bit sorry for itself! Would highly recommend a stop here great value for money.

Nice site beautiful surroundings. Clubhouse nice and clean. Great walks around. Did get lost looking for it. The food in the restaurant was ok. Clean toilets.
If you walk across the road there is a great walk down by the lake
The drive into arbois is beautiful, its hard to concentrate when your driving.
It's a busy site lots of English people there. Its a great place to sit and have lunch. Will definitely visit again

Excellent campsite, convenient for motorway as overnight stop (which it's mostly used for, by huge no. Of Germans, especially) though quiet, in a residential area, but also worth staying a few days in this interesting region. It's an easy walk into town. The free WiFi works! and the site is inexpensive(approx 14€) with 16 amps electricity. Dogs are allowed (extra couple of €s which seems normal these days). Can't comment on restaurant/shop as it's only just getting going now.
Our only gripe is that we were allocated plot no 1 (not allowed to choose, even though well out of season) and that's right by the entrance, on gravel and on view from every direction. When we said we would not take it but go somewhere else, we were invited to choose anywhere we wanted! After 4 nights, the only other people on that plot were another British couple - they must think British people will accept the worst plot on the site when no-one else will - you don't need to, especially out of season.

We came here, wanting to see the city Beaune. The campsite was a 10 minute walk from the city center, or seconds with a bike. I would NOT recommend going in by car (no parking). The campsite was full and closed both nights we stayed, mostly for later arrivals (than 1600). The camp sets out a list of other sites all within close reach with numbers to call. We stayed two nights and only paid 19€ the night for our camper, two adults and 1 youngster (14) with electric (10A). Water access is close by but only on selected spots is direct access available. Hot water is free, bath and toilet facilities are modern and good, but during our stay, a part of one facility was closed (something to do with the sewage system so 5 of the 10 toilets were out) Hot water is plentiful and facilities were clean. There is WIFI access with a code access given with you site number, but I don't know what the WIFI costs; if anything. The restaurant on site looks good and was well visited by others, but we have everything with us and didn't need it. Shopping in town is expensive but available. A huge Carrefour direction Dole and another Super U?(different) in the direction of Dijon.

I have to echo the sentiments of the previous reviewer - this site is a hidden Gem! We were travelling across the country on our way from Normandy to the Alps and decided to pull up on an 'Aire' for the night. Due to a 'bum steer' from the Sat Nav on the way to the aire we accidentally ended up at the entrance to this site. Taking one look at the site from the road we decided to pop in and see if they had any free spaces for the night.
The reception area was tidy and welcoming, the woman on reception spoke very good English after listening to my bumbling attempts in French :-) She offered us a pitch for the night with EHU for approx 15 euros. We were given a map of the site (similar the caravan club maps) and our pitch was highlighted. We were told where all the facilities were, given a secure key fob for the barrier and WiFi access code and sent off on our way. The pitches were of a very good size with hedges separating them for privacy.
The site facilities were excellent, showers large and plentiful, lots of pot washing areas and such. Plenty of bins and recycling facilities. We settled in with a glass of wine in hand to catch the last of the evening sun. As we were only here overnight, I cannot comment on the town or the on site restaurant but both looked very very nice indeed. I would certainly stay here again if in the area.

A little gem on the outskirts of Beaune itself and within easy walking distance of the medieval centre. The pitches are clearly defined and separated by hedges. A selection of hard-standing and grass pitches are available so specify what you want on check-in. Tent pegs went in like a dream.
Toilets, etc are immaculate, there is a bar on site with very welcome cold beers, etc. A restaurant is also on site for breakfasts and evening meals. The shop is rather restricted (mostly drinks of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic variety) but there is a big Leclerc supermarket a few minutes drive away. However, much better is the wonderful market in the centre of Beaune on Saturdays.
Some of the larger caravan owners found some of the pitches a bit of a challenge to get into, but there were always plenty of people around to help with suggestions. Most people had no problem.
Again, no comment about child friendliness as its not something that I am conscious of, my 'kids' are now grown men so its been a while since I paid attention to child facilities. There were only a handful of tots around. There was a little play park bit at the other side of the site to where we were pitched but I didn't notice anyone using it.
I would heartily recommend this site as a very central base to visit the Cote d'Or. A short drive takes you to Meursault, Gevrey Chambertain, Nuits St George, etc. Mmmm, bliss.
