 Part of the Caravan Club portfolio. Had not pre- booked but managed to get in anyway. The warden was very helpful and spoke excellent english.
Pitches vary in size, with no border of any kind. Best pitches are by the river.
Toilet blocks large and very clean - you need tokens which can be purchased from the shop; the shop sells very little, local wine, beer and bread mainly (but then what else do you need!), so would not rely on it for anything else.
Public swimming pool at the entrance of the site, ticket machine entrance, diving boards and small slide.
Outside of the site you can get a tourist train that takes you around the vineyards.
Specialist coffee in town, sort of like an irish coffee but in a special cup. If you don't drink spirits, try the iced coffees that were great.
Super site, will return.

First Class campsite run by hands on owner Oliver.
Situated on the banks of the Rhine with some pitches having a river view. The town of Rudesheim is an easy/flat 10 minutes walk away with lots of bars and restaurants.
The site has mainly grass pitches with electric points and some with water points.A large toilet block with Showers (Token required) plenty of hot water The site has a shop selling fresh bread etc. And also a bar.
The Towns open air swimming pool is next door to the site (open May to early September).Major Supermarkets within 15 min walk and also McDonald's.
