Our first visit and first time as naturist. My wife was nervous at first but once through the gate, and the warm welcome from tony and Alison, the nerves seem to evaporate and was soon striped. Was shown around by tony and Alison: the showers, the infared sauna, the walks, the hot tub, the hut where the pool table and where you can meet others. Our accommodation was the lake studio with en-suite and decking all the way around with wonderful views. Will definitely be back. John and gloria

Booked this for a relaxing break and found a lovely spot for exactly that.
We spent 3 nights here and really enjoyed the experience. Spent a lot of time in the hot tub enjoying the view and putting the world to rights with fellow guests. Everyone we met was so friendly.
The conservatory is brilliant in that you can enjoy the view of the lake and the wildlife whatever the weather. I read, my partner sat with the iPad there was a lady knitting and one drawing and enjoying the day. This is something we have never found on other sites and next time will take our food & wine to eat and enjoy.
We enjoyed a gathering in The Hut with the pool winner staying on the table playng another guest and also a round or so of pitch and putt - only lost the ball in the lake a couple of times.
We didn't use the sauna on this occasion but will be back to revisit.
We didn't find any downsides and only put the location as 5 as there is nothing anyone can do about where the site is located (ie far away).
However the experience if classed as facilities with the lake and wildlife would be a 9.

I am on my sixth day of my ninth visit to this site and it's been another great holiday. I've spent hours in the hot tub which was really hot and some time in the sauna laid down listening to relaxing music. This is a very well run site with very friendly people and different from most places drinks are allowed in both the sauna and hot tub in plastic cups or glasses. I can't understand how anybody can complain about it.

Visited this site new year eve, first time here, was shown round with one of the owners, lot of the site was taken up by enormous lake. The rest a few outdated seaside statics, a number of ecus dotted about in front of the lake. Hot tub in front of the house, very little bubbles but ok to sit in and watch the stars. Very frosty when I got there. Ducks and chickens roaming around, make sure you keep your doors closed!
All in all a pleasant site way out in the country side. Summer months might put a different aspect on it. I found only one shower and 2 toilets in a shed. A nice walk down at the bottom of the field but a bit lifeless as its just unmown grass with a path through it, dould do with some tables and chairs down there. But like I said could be totally different in the sunshine. Wont be coming back £18 per night with ecu very basic site

Just got back from a couple of nights at lakeside and can't wait to return.
Fantastic welcome and guided tour showing where everything on site is. Unfortunately that's when the rain started and came down heavy but left off in time for a couple of games of pool, sauna and hot tub to finish the evening off with.
The next morning was sunny if not the warmest. Back into the hot tub to ease yourself into the day. Can't beat it.
The site is very relaxed and is completely up to you when to be naked or not.
The only negative is as nice as the hot tub is it would be better if a little was spent repairing / replacing the pump so that the jets and bubbles worked.
When approaching the site beware the entrance is easy to miss.

First time visit, for my self and partner, the owner was very welcoming as for his wife too.
Felt so at ease so all ready planning next visit. Perfect get away with lovely people. Every thing in room was to good standard, clean and fresh. Sauna was perfect just like hot tub although would benefit from a service.

I was a newbie to naturist camping but was made to feel very welcome and at ease by all my only niggle the shower in sauna area is a little off putting as its a little exposed (shower in the corner of the sauna room that has a big window in, but there is another shower and apart from that I had a fantastic 2 days there met some wonderful people, yes there is a little Duck muck (very little) but you can't have one without the other, its no where near were you pitch your tent, the hot tub always looked clean and was checked twice a day whilst I was there. I did read all the reviews on here before going so wasn't sure what to expect but in a nutshell, its a little basic but its clean, friendly and well worth a visit. 9/10 I will be returning

Just visited this site, and have to say was not really that impressed.
Site is well off the beaten track so very private with lots of trees for privacy.
Camping field is very poor very uneven with potholes
All over the place, and chicken and duck poo everywhere, this is then transferred into your tent, (not nice) the field for the caravans however is like a bowling green by comparison but covered in goose droppings which stain everything.
There is only one shower for the whole site, no hot water for washing up, Shower cost 20p for about 4 mins. Overall not a very nice experience best thing was we met some really nice people.
Wont be going back.

Me and my partner went there for his birthday. I was new to it all. When I went on to the website I booked and I love the site. The hot tub I loved I went in it 3 times used the Sauna one time when I was there. The toilet block is very clean. All the site was clean. I feed the ducks.
Going back there tomorrow for my honeymoon and staying for 4 days and I can't wait.

This could well be one of the best naturist sites I've visited.
Lovely quiet location, that will only get better as the trees grow.
Friendly owners, it was a nice touch to be given a guided tour, on arrival.
The hot tub did look inviting and if weather had been a bit better would have been braver. Sauna was good, although couldn't get the cd player to work.
As with most naturist sites everyone was very friendly, so make sure you take your favourite tipple and join in the evening chat, in the meeting room.
My only complaint was, that its a tad expensive for a single person staying for one night, but if you have the time the discounts, make it good value, for longer stays.
Will I return YES
