Very welcoming, yet un intrusive. I stayed here a part of a bell tent meet, was just lovely. The owners seemed to enjoy having us, and were genuinely impressed to see the bells all lit up. It was made more lovely because all pitches are provided with a huge fire pit, perfect. I loved that this site wasn't over big, yet had lots of little areas to discover. Den building woods, communal bbq (free ale and sausage tasting ) and a fab little playroom if you get caught out with the weather. Indoor washing up, fridge available, and large shower rooms, heated floor I think! Certainly felt like it. Every need catered to as far as I aware, and the owner even took my phone to her office to charge it for me. Large pitch, plenty of space for kitchen tent if needed. Very friendly, reasonable price, and not too far from he Norfolk coast. Have booked two more visits this summer.

First camp of the year at our favourite site. We had taken our youngest grandchild who is 2 on his first camp what a lovely time he had visiting the pigs and chickens and sitting on top of the Hobbit hill. Neil has done wonders over the winter months in the adjacent field and again congrats on your special news. We have been visitors here since the second year of opening and things have only got better. I cannot find any faults with this site its like a home from home this is all down to the lovely owners Neil and Lesley, thank you for a lovely week see you both in August for the big camp (12 nights)

Was told about this site by a person we brought our caravan from someone who happens to back onto the site thought we'd give it a try as we like to go to different places glad we did. What a little gem of a site, very clean and tidy site. The owners are lovely and friendly. The facilities are excellent, lovely big shower rooms, washing machine and dryer. Close to Wisbech with lots of places to see and do. There is a fire pit on each pitch which we had a bbq on and toasted marshmallows We reccomend the cider from the brewery on site. Would definitely go back again

A little tight on accessing our pitch although we do have a large 6 berth van. The facilities are excellent and the owners are great they couldn't do more for us and very welcoming.
It is a little out of they way but there is a bus route at the top of the lane (short walk)
Overall a lovely relaxing friendly site

Camped non electric on Halloween. Campsite is 5 mins outside of Wisbech down a quiet lane. On approach I admit it doesn`t look 'much'. BUT as soon as I drove through the gate, what a gem! Owners are super friendly and really lovely, with the biggest firepits to use. The ground is level and soft, so pegs went in like a dream. Facilities are very good and clean too, freezer, washer, dryer, hairdryer, washing up area. Very pretty with trees and birds singing. The EHU pitches are all done in such a way they are a little private haven which is nice. I was non electric so on an open area next to the potato factory. The fans from this are on all the time, so if you are a light sleeper this may not be the place for you (didn`t bother me in the slightest). Very family orientated site. There is also a campsite shop selling teabags, milk etc and a micro brewery. Hubby enjoyed the beers I took home for him. I`d go back again next year.

Excellent campsite. Immaculate shower facilities with under floor heating & very clean. Table tennis table indoors. Fire pit with every pitch. Excellent value for money and amazing service. Bushcraft courses on Saturdays, tours of the micro brewery on site. This was a truly relaxing & enjoyable experience. Highly recommended

Had a really lovely long weekend here with 10 others although it rained a bit. Showers and toilets were really big and clean and there was a fridge, washing machine and drier too. There is a table tennis table if it rains and a nice kids play area. Mary the pig had I think 5 new babies and she loves apples. We had an ale, elderberry cider and sausage tasting on the Saturday afternoon and a tour of the brewery.
On the Saturday evening we had a BBQ with our friends using a big fire baskets which is on each pitch and it kept us all warm.
We were in the big field which was great for our party but the individual garden pitches looked really inviting.
Wisbech is a lovely Georgian town with some great houses to look at. We didn't travel much as we were staying with our friends.
Hope to return in the future.

This site was a hidden gem - we were made to feel incredibly welcome on this lovely lovely site. It had excellent facilities for families with large, clean family showers (with heated floors). We loved the fire pits on each site which meant we could have a safe camp fire with our two children. There was lots for the kids to see and do. The pitches were well appointed, private and spacious. It was simply incredible value and an enjoyable experience.

I agree with all the positive comments about this site so far. The owners were as friendly and helpful as they could be, the pitches were generous and as we were on a pitch in the garden area it was very private, surrounded by trees and shrubs. It was peaceful site, safe for the children to be free to go and play (our daughter loved visiting the pig), homely (Vernon the cat was a regular visitor to our pitch) and great to have campfires every evening.
Although we weren't pitched in the meadow field we did use the space for playing with the children, it was great that the pitches aren't crowded in.
We really appreciated having the fridge and the freezer available to use, as well as the table tennis.
The only small criticism would be that as 3 of the 4 toilets are in wet rooms, at the showering time of the morning there was often a wait for toilets. However we were there in the middle of the school holidays, probably at less busy times it would not be an issue.
We also loved the charging policy. As a family with 3 children the sites that charge extra per person often work out to be quite expensive for us, so just the flat rate of £15 per pitch per night was ace.
We visited Scalextric Racing at Sleaford one day which we all enjoyed and it wasn't too expensive. Also the museum in Wisbech is free and worth visiting for its eclectic eccentricity.
All in all we loved the site and would be happy to return in future if we are in the area again.
