I was so grateful that we were able to stay here! I had booked the wrong weekend and showed up a week later than my booking.

The owner very graciously allowed us to to stay and we had great time.

The site was large and very safe.

Had another lovely few days staying at Ingfield Farm, it’s our second visit in as many months.

Generous sized pitches all with electricity and water, pitches on 2 sides of field protected by trees. We were pitched in a sheltered part of the field to help reduce the impact of storm Ellen, the warden also parked his camper to help shield from the wind. The warden is visible and friendly and patrols site which provides reassurance, he also explained Covid rules.

Pot washing area clean and well maintained. Grass pitches well maintained, they were cutting the grass when we arrived. Lovely views of local hills.

Elsan point easy to find and clean. Facilities score down as no shower & toilets available due to Covid.

Will definitely be back.

Arrived at the site early afternoon, was greeted by a very friendly helpful gentleman who explained everything about the site and pointed us to our pitch.

The site was very clean, cannot comment on the toilets or showers as they were closed due to the situation of covid.

We were pitched on the outer edge of the field the views were lovely and we were greeted by some lovely horses.

You can do a lovely walk around the fields.

I have booked to return to this site again next year.

Very quiet beautiful views; generous sized pitches; friendly & helpful warden; simple and easy to follow instructions; COVID-19 aware and sensible rules; very well spaced pitches; clean and well lit outside pot washing area; selection of takeaway menus for deliveries, liked that they were not allowed on site and walk to lane to collect was not a problem; liked the simple security barrier entry code system and secondary security of gate locked 11pm to 7am.

We were informed before visit that showers & toilets were out of use due to COVID-19, this allowed us to arrive prepared with chemical toilet, it was our first time using this and found it simple to use and keep clean, Elsan point was convenient, shame someone stole the hosepipe during our visit which hampered cleaning toilet on last day. Like the idea of a fine for those disposing of human waste inappropriately, I would double the fine if it was me.

Our visit to Ingfield Farm was to allow us to see relatives living nearby, would have liked ability to invite limited number of visitors (eg max 4 people from same household between certain hours) but understand reasons for not allowing visitors. Very pleasant will return.

This is a lovely quiet site with stunning views.

It is extremely well-kept and the warden regularly patrols the site, checking for litter and dog mess as well as disinfecting all touch points.

There are plenty of walks and bike rides in the area and nearby places of interest. We will definitely be returning.

Thanks for a peaceful short stay, despite the weather!

Excellent site in a large field, we were given pitch 27, unfortunately it was next to 2 residents, not pleasant, lot of shouting and a dog running loose at all hours. If we had been further away we may not have noticed them.

The pitches are easily located, very roomy, water pipe to each one by the electric hook up for £17 a night.

Only just of the main road, heard no traffic, right next to the trans pennine trail and only 2 1/2 miles from penistone.

Overall a 10 site but due to our neighbours I will give this a 7.

Nice site! As others have said, it's basic but has great toilet/washing up facilities. This would be a great site to go to if you're new to caravans or camping, as the warden is also a gem who is keen to help in anyway he can.

The field is massive, plenty of space for all. Friendly horses in the next door field! We did a cycle ride that left from the campsite entrance, so there's plenty of outdoorsy things to do. Penistone is lovely, and other places not too far.

Would definitely go back for another relaxing time away!
