This site is a hidden gem. Absolutely amazing in every way.
The facilities were great, clean & lovely shower toilet units, fishing ponds stocked with plenty of fish & lovely setting. Huge playing field & large pitches which are lined by shrubs & bushes, very pretty. There's a welcome shelter which is central to the hardstanding pitches & made for a great place for our party of 6 tourers to gather in the evening.
The owners Dave, Jane & family couldn't do enough for you they were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, always around for a chat & Dave brought us his homemade slo gin to enjoy.
We weren't brave enough to use the pool this time but it looked great & very clean.
Great location for walking or relaxing
We will definitely return very soon & I would recommend this beautiful site to anyone
We were made to feel very welcome, adults children & dogs

What a gem of a site.
We had 4 nights in April when we arrived Rachel was there to greet us very friendly we were told to find a pitch, followed directions along gravel road what a lovely grassed area very sheltered several hook ups and mostly flat. There is a lake to the rear and a swimming pool in a poly tunnel that you can hire by the hour but we didn't partake. There are two showers and toilets which are immaculate the showers are piping hot. We will definitely be going back as there is plenty to do within the area.

Had four nights at strattons farm and I've got to say it was delightful, when we turned up the owner was out to greet us, and was so laid back about where to pitch up and payment etc. she made you feel right at home.
The all electric hook up pitches are in a enclosed banked field at the back of the main house (sun trap) the other side of the bank is a gem of a lake, although only one big carp (hand fed) was in attendance there were thousands of fish willing to jump on the hook, a novices paradise, not for the serious angler but if you have kids this is the place.
The showering and wash facilities were emulate, very clean and tidy, the best ive ever seen.
The owners were very friendly and attentive with an offer to use the swimming pool which unfortunately we declined as the temp inside was to much to bear.
Not only was the weather fantastic, so is this site, I recommend it to anyone

Just got back from a weeks holiday based at this site, what a jem total seclusion the only noise are the birds and the drone of afar off tractor in the field somewhere. We went with family for the first four days then they had to return home and we had the site to our selves after they left no one else arrived, total peace. The site is surrounded by tall trees at the rear of the farm with a small fishing lake which you can fish. There is also there private indoor swimming pool that you can hire for a small fee, what a find we will be back you can bet on it.
