Just spent a very enjoyable weekend at this small site. Set in a small wood this is a very handy site for the pub in Frankton and the Garden centre on the A45. The site has a small but clean toilet block and with a dishwashing sink. The site is set in a glade so if wet and windy you may get a disturbed nights sleep.

Visited this site as it's local to me and it was my first outing with a new van.
The site is in woodland rather than an open field, waking up to bird song every morning was one of the highlights of the trip.
There is 1 shower and 2 toilets, as this site is all caravans I doubt this causes issues.
We were shown our pitch on arrival although we couldn't find a reception, there was a lady with a plan on site when we arrived.
The local pubs are in stretton and probably 20 - 30 minutes walk, 3 minute drive.
There are no facilities for children to play.
A nice site and we would return.

Very quiet site in a pleasant woodland area. Good for visiting Stratford, Coventry etc.
Despite other motorhomers clearly present, I don't think we saw a soul inc the owners. Toilets were clean but the shower was cold. Apart from a sink tap in the toilet there wasn't one suitable for filling large containers.
No other facilities as such, no children's play area and no obvious amenities eg shops within walking distance. There are 2 pubs in the neighbouring village. Fine for those who just want peace.

Fantastic little site, very friendly welcome from the owner. Found a lovely pitch nestled in the wood. Very small site which added to an atmosphere so peace and seclusion. Little bit of noise from the nearby road but nothing to work about. Washroom facilities were clean and the charge for using the hot water was not an issue, plenty of time for about 50p. Though the lack of hot water in the sinks makes shaving and washing up a challenge with trips back and forth to the tent boiler the kettle, definitely something to consider resolving. Will be returning.

This was a super find, a quiet site amongst a glade of trees. The facilities were very good and the pitches fairly level hardstanding. Only thing is that you must put cash in for the shower before entering the shower cubilcle itself, which was not made very clear - don't get caught out!We walked to the Friendly inn in Frankton which lived up to its name but does take 20-25 mins contrary to a previous post. It is a similar walk into the lovely village of Stretton where there are two pubs and a lovely well stocked shop and post office. The dog walk from site is wonderful as you can go into the woods straight from site. The helpful friendly owner lives next to site. We are bound to be using this one again as we have relatives in Rugby.

We stayed here for almost a week and it makes a great base for visiting the surrounding area. Situated just off the Fosse Way you can get to most places without using busy main roads.
The owner is lovely and helped us pitch when the mover refused to move. The little loo block is brand new and great quality, the shower takes 20p's, but we used the caravans, so I can't say how long your pennies will last. The pitches are mostly hardstanding and with only 10 vans on site it is not too busy. There is a great dog/woodland walk that most large sites will struggle to match.
There is a cycle route which can be found on the other side of nearby Frankton which takes you towards Warwick in one direction and Rugby in the other. Better still cycle the route towards Rugby and you soon arrive at Draycote Water, which has a good cafe on the other side. So when you have enjoyed eating too much on the cafe's balcony (the fajitas would feed two. Easily) you can then ride around the rest of the 5 mile lakeside to burn it off again, before heading back to the trail.
The canals locally are a peaceful place for a walk. We discovered Hatton locks near Warwick (cafe at the top lock), Braunston marina for a look at the price of a narrowboat (caravaning is still cheaper) and nearby Stockton locks.
Warwick is pleasant but the Castle is an awful tourist 'attraction', noisy, extremely expensive and much more a theme park than great historic castle. We used Tesco vouchers making the visit free, but a family of four could pay more than £100 for entry tickets alone for a visit, not good value. The bird display and the trebuchet were excellent, everything else I thought has ruined the experience. I know nothing more of the castles history than before I visited. Kenilworth castle, whilst a ruin, is owned by English Heritage and much more authentic.

Having just returned from a lovely long weekend at Eriba Glade, I can 100% recommend this site and will definitely camp there again if we're in the area.
We arrived in absolutely torrential rain but nevertheless were impressed by the beauty of the site (and luckily the rain abated by the time we'd started putting the tent up!)
The facilities are brilliant - I wasn't expecting such good toilets/shower blocks but they are impeccably clean and very newly built. There are lots of electric hookups for those that want it (we didn't) and plenty of taps.
The site is small and consequently very peaceful, although there is some traffic noise (but not much). We were surrounded by wildlife and the dawn chorus was exceptionally enthusiastic!
We went to the nearby Essence of India in Marton, which we can also wholeheartedly recommend as their hospitality is second to none. We'd seen the previous review about them giving you a lift but decided we would drive. However, when we got there, they persuaded us to have a bottle of wine and drove us back to the campsite in our own car! The food is absolutely amazing and we finished off the night with liqueur coffees on the house.
We also really liked The Wharf Inn in Fenny Compton - the food is really good quality (and the portion sizes are epic!). During the week they do a selection of their meals on a '2 for £10' deal which was really good value for money (although even if you go at the weekend and pay full price it's still worth it!)
Finally, we also tried out The Friendly Inn at Frankton, which definitely lived up to its name as all the staff were lovely, and the food was enjoyable. We would definitely eat there again.
Overall, our stay at Eriba Glade was wonderful - beautiful site, friendly owner and excellent facilities. At £10/night it was superb.

Just come back from a lovely 3-night break and what can I say. It is in a pretty woodland setting and very peaceful.
The site has good size and level hardstanding pitches with some grass areas for tents and most pitches have electric hook-up. The owner is a lovely friendly lady who lives in a house just off to the side of the site and makes you feel very welcome. The site has been updated since we were last here with improved pitches and a new toilet/shower block and washroom, which is great if you haven't got your own facilities. You can walk dogs all around the woods - just follow the path around. There is a padlocked gate so good for security whilst you are out and about.
The site is a very handy base for exploring this part of Warwickshire - Rugby, Coventry, Leamington Spa, Warwick and Stratford.
There are a 2 pubs which both serve food in the village of Stretton. The village also has a general store & post office. There is also the Friendly Inn at Frankton which serves great food and is only a 10 mintue walk or there is a Pub with an Indian Restaurant (Essence of India) in the village of Marton who will pick you up and take you home for free if you give them a call! A bonus if you like a few drinks & a curry!
Overall, a lovely site in a great area, very reasonable fees and we are already looking forward to our next visit.
