This was our first stop on a week-long tour of waterfalls in the Dales. It's very handy for walking to Bronte Falls and also Top Withens.
Cost was £30 for 2 nights with EHU. To reach the EHU we basically had to pitch in a car park rather than on grass, but there is grass further down and tents pitched next to the river on a grassy slope.
It is a fairly basic site, with toilet and shower facilities inside an old shipping container, but these were clean and perfectly sufficient for our needs.
Dog friendly (we didn't need to put her on a lead at all), and we received a very warm welcome when we arrived, complete with offers of maps, walking guides, and an invitation to join the owners for a BBQ. There is also free wi fi if you are at the Mill end of the site (just ask for the password).
Drawbacks are:
Biting midges in the evening (though nothing can be done about that I realise!) so bring repellent and citronella (although for us this still wasn't enough).
Washing up point has no hot water.
Otherwise, a great little site.

Stayed for the weekend. Were greeted by the owners with offers of extra strong tent pegs and midge repellent! The ground is very hard but our own pegs were fine.
I would recommend a hammer though - also offered. The site has basic facilities which were kept clean. Although there's only 1 (spacious and hot) shower, as it's a small site this wasn't a problem. The owners, Richard & Barbara, couldn't do enough for us and even invited us to join their BBQ on Sat. Pm. Bring your own meat.
A lovely way to spend the evening and meet other campers as well.

Stayed for 2 nights over the weekend, lovely campsite set in a lovely location. The owners were very helpful with hookup/map/even offered to pick us up from howarth.
The site has not been opened for very long and is still in the process of being finished so basic facilities at the moment.
Toilets/shower clean but no locks on shower/mens toilets when we camped but told it would be sorted out very soon, cafe in the process of being finished.
We would definitely go back as the local walks are fantastic (bronte/pennine way) bustop nearby for haworth (664) pub also in walking distance. And very dog friendly.

This site is set in a stunning valley, very close to a reservoir. There is a very nice pub a very short stroll (1/4 mile) up a little hill which serves food. We didn't eat there but it was a lovely pub and the food looked great. They do functions too. (Old Silent Inn if you wanted to check it out).
Haworth is a short car ride away but we walked. It's just over 3 miles and is a really nice walk. You follow the signs for Haworth which start next to the reservoir just up the lane. Then you follow signs for Bronte Falls, then the signs for Haworth start again. We didn't have a map and it was impossible to get lost as the paths and signs were clear. We walked around Haworth - which is lovely - and had lunch there, and walked back along a route that takes you from Lord Lane in Haworth back to Stanbury - then the site is half a mile down the road. It was a lovely day out and about 8 miles overall. There are walks everywhere.
Coming on to the site itself, the owners were very welcoming and helpful. Even offering to run us down to Haworth (so we didn't have to move the Motorhome). They said we could exercise our dogs on a field next to the site and running on a steep bank round the back - which was very helpful (although there are loads of other dog exercising options). The site has just opened and is extremely basic although no doubt it will develop. There is a relaxed field. The tents go by the stream which is lovely And if you had kids they would love pottering about in the stream. The loos are a portacabin and the washing up facilities are a bowl you fill from the loos at the moment although there are plans to develop it. There was no lock on the signal shower door which needs addressing, and the site currently has a bit of an unkempt feel to it and would benefit from a bit of landscaping, tidying up, and a few flowers about the place but I think the owners will get to that. It has a very relaxed feel, is in a good spot and if you like your sites relaxed and basic in stunning scenery with stuff about to do, then you will love it. At £15 a night we thought it was a bit dear for the basic facilities but we would come again so that speaks for itself.
