We liked the proximity, a short walk into Wooler.
Friendliness of the staff a cleanliness of the facilities.
Some good walks in the area and a nice Italian restaurant.
The butchers and Bakers were very good.
The site is lovely but we probably won't be going back to Wooler in the near future.

Nice site with good views from the top area. Modern facilities block was clean.
The site is not manned 24 hours but owners response to a call was quick.
A five minute walk into Wooler village with good pubs and restaurants.
We would stay again.

Peace and tranquillity in the shadow of the Cheviot hills.
Excellent location with Wooler high street 5-10 minute walk.
Lovely walks from campsite
Easy access when towing
Disappointingly insufficient toilets and showers
Pitches too close together

We're relatively new campers having bought a tent in 2019 but got no further than pitching it in the garden last year and this was our first full week away.
Wooler is an ideal base for exploring the area with both countryside and coastal locations within a short drive. The site is in a great countryside location within a short walk of town centre with a good range of shops.
The site has 3 sections, statics (not for hire), main field with seasonal pitches around the edges and tourers at one end and in the middle, and further overflow field.
We were given a choice of pitches and opted for one on the main field to be closer to the facilities block.
The facilities block was spacious and clean, some cubicles were closed off for the first couple of days before restrictions were lifted but it was never too busy, although this was only the school holidays. There was a washing up room with 3 sinks and also a useful laundry room. Hand sanitiser was provided by each entrance. There were plenty of taps around the main site, again hand sanitiser was provided by each.
Although there was no freezer for ice blocks we were told that they could be frozen at the shop for 30p per block which was useful.
Staff were helpful and friendly. Enquiries before arrival were dealt with quickly. Once on site if there was no one at reception there were numbers to call with any questions or problems.
The site was quite busy over the weekend, but there was no late night noise.
Would definitely book again.

Excellent campsite with lovely views of the surrounding countryside.
Good clean facilities and extremely well kept site.
5 minute walk into Wooler centre with a Co-op, various small shops and 3 pubs.
Well situated for visits to Alnwick, Bamburgh and over the Scottish Border.
Will definitely book again in the future.

Very pleasant, well run, friendly, clean site.
Plenty of quiet country lanes for relaxing cycling,
Stunning views, on the edge of picturesque Wooler, what's not to like.

A super campsite, we loved staying here and will definitely be back!
It was a very relaxing atmosphere and ideal for 'switching off' and exploring the nearby beauty spots.
The owners and people who own caravans that are permanently on the site are so welcoming and friendly.
Can't wait to go back!

A pleasant site, well maintained with a mixture of pitches for tourers, tents and seasonal, long term.
Easy to find, access good, we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our pitch.
The Hard standing EHU pitches are against a hill with trees, so unfortunately Didn’t get the afternoon and evening sun that others enjoyed.
Good dog walking field adjacent. There was a cafe, closed due to Covid but would be a nice option for breakfast etc. Nice play park for kids but that was also closed. Facilities closed so couldn’t inspect those.
The ice cream van came on Saturday Evening!
Would use again.
