After a poor welcome from a neighbouring site, this couldn't have been any more different! We were greeted by one of the family that owns the site, who was full of smiles & nothing was too much trouble. A fabulous spot in one of the fields was found for us, with brilliant sea views. Campers were spread out around the field so we weren't on top of each other. The dog was welcomed as warmly as we were.
The locaton is superb, a private path down to the beach. There is a coastal path that extends in both directions, but I recommend walking to Moelfre, 1-1. 5 hrs each way.
No local pub but there is a lovely bar cafe on site, serves local beers & though we didn't eat there others told us it was lovely. Seemed reasonable prices.
Facilities were superb. There was a new block near us with a shower (free & hot!), small imdividual bathrooms, lovely clean dish washing areas with proper taps!
Overall a lovely stay, would definitely revisit if this way again!

Wow amazing find what more can I say. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant lovely with little private beach huts if pre-booked. Playground lovely. Lower toilet block always clean and never busy. View amazing from our pitch. Beach beautiful. Pitch large and well kept. I have read reviews and heard comments about the price of this site. I do have to say you get what you pay for an excellently maintained site with wonderful views and very helpful owners/staff. We are sure to return!

Just come back from a seven day stay at Tyddyn Isaf and I cannot rate this park highly enough. We turned up with our two children, aged 12 and 13, and our two dogs and an other family with their children and dogs! We were made very welcome and the warden was able to site us in corner of field so we all had plenty of room to spread out! (only able to do this as it was early in the season).
The site itself is lovely. Modern hot showers operated by the key fob. The site itself is very clean and tidy. The children played out happily on the park. There is an on site pub with a fantastic view of the bay. I understand that the food is excellent(we never got chance to eat there). The owners have built beach huts at the back of the pub, again with excellent views of the bay to house dogs and there owners who want to eat there.
The best part of this site is its location. The beach was only a short walk away and was beautiful and quiet. From the beach there is a coastal walk to Moelfre, a lovely walk which took us about an hour. Nice pub at the end.
We had a drive out to Valley where the RAF jets are stationed. We were able to watch them take off and land. They were so close that the pilots were able to wave at us.
The only thing that I would like to make future visitors aware is that if taking a touring caravan be mindful that the initial approach to the site looks as if it going to be a tight squeeze. Please be assured that the road does widen and be confident in the signs that direct you to the site. They are accurate. Honest!

We visited this site and were prepared to pay more because reviews on here and info on their own website made it sound perfect. It is very pretty and well kept with clean facilities. I was especially impressed with the tiled chemical waste points which made the emptying process as pleasant as possible. There weren't enough toilets and showers for the amount of people staying and some of the showers just trickle. You need to be up earlier than anyone else to go to the toilet and shower. It looks over Lligwy beach and there are some pleasant walks around the area. There are two new beach hut sun shelters up at the club which are really nice and give a bit of privacy if you want a family meal. The site is very hilly and going to the waste points, water, toilets and showers was quite a treck so you can't be in a hurry. We were at the top of the hill, near the entrance and boy was it windy! To get wifi you have to go into the club or sit outside of it and even then it keeps going off. I have stayed at better sites for far less money.

Great site, great position, has a lot of leveled out hard standing pitches but also has 3 slooping camping fields where you need blocks / ramps as you are on a hill overlooking lligwy beach in the near distance this gives wow views out to sea. Has a great bar/restaurant /shop at top of the site with outside area with great views. Toilet blocks are situated in various locations that are good. Has a kids area with slides etc. Direct access to lligwy beach in via a key fob to a locked gate and a good footpath. Great sandy beach awaits you. We will be back again.

Stayed here with our 2 kids over 4 days in the summer hols.
Yes it is a little pricier than others but the view of the beach from the site is amazing and so worth it.
We were warmly welcomed and shown to our pitch which was well spaced from other campers. The field felt safe and the kids were able to ride their bikes freely, they also met plenty of new friends and were kept busy!
The showering facilities and toilet blocks are great, constantly being cleaned and therefore almost always spotless. We couldn't really fault them.
The kids play area is nice, though our kids didn't use it that much as it was a little way from our pitch and they needed to be supervised. The walk down to the beach from the site is lovely though and we made good use of that!
All in all, a brilliant stay, we were very lucky with the weather and really impressed with the location and facilities.

Beautiful site! Friendly and very helpful owners. The facilities are great (could do with more loos though). The food served at the bar/restaurant was really good and the whole place had a great atmosphere.
The sea views are fantastic and the beach is just a ten minute walk down a private path through the site. This would be our return to site several times a year if it was a little less expensive.

Just got back from this site, had a fantastic stay, one of the bigger sites we've stayed at but they cater well for lots of people clean and modern shower/toilet blocks, lovely food available from the on site restaurant, takeaway also available which was great, children's playground which was
Ok the biggest plus about this site would definitely be the view of the beach and the private path to the beach, 5 mins walk away, the only downside is we camped on a slight hill, the owners were also very friendly and helpful would definitely go back again

Amazing views of the coast. Relatively flat pitches. Some were very steep though. Quite expensive, but worth it for the views!
There was a short path to the beach (had to use an electric fob to access it). It was like our own private beach.
Toilets and showers were modern and very clean.
Had to wait around for a while upon arrival, but once we started picking a spot, staff were helpful.
The campsite had a small shop, (but you have to order newspapers!)
I recommend bringing a windbreak (or 2) it was extremely windy at night, mainly because of being so close to the sea.
All in all we had a lovely weekend!

Visited here with two kids, staying in a 6 berth tent. The views were amazing, however the field that we camped on was on a steep slope; cutlery slid off the table and chairs slid along the floor. Also, returning to the tent meant a steep climb.
The main toilet block was in a pleasent, clean, modern building, but some of the toilets and showers in the Ladies' were very dingy and a little outdated. Also, it was a long trek from some of the fields. The toilet block nearest the shop consisted of two bathrooms (shower, sink and toilet) and baby changing facilities. The electric key fob required to use the showers meant that only one person per tent could shower at a time, which was inconvenient. The final toilet block was very clean and modern. There are two small bathrooms (toilet and sink- no mens and womens) and one wetroom, all spotless. Also, there are dishwashing facilities by both this block and the main block. The shop was well stocked and the freezers adequate, but the restaurant was pricey.
The playground was a HUGE disappointment; the helter skelter slide stank of urine and there was nothing there for older children. On the plus side, the location is beautiful and thd beach is good for children. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return again to this pleasent site.
