Lovely site which is very pretty and my son loved fishing in the river with his dad.

Very sheltered and the weather was glorious which helped.

Lovely clean and warm shower block with plenty of hot water.

Only negative is that the games room isn't up to much and it could do with a clubhouse for when the weather is bad - as it was sunny all week it wasn't an issue but we would've felt a bit stranded if it had been rotten outside.

Owner lovely and friendly as are the people who own the statics.

Would return as it's nice and peaceful.

Fantastic site. Brilliant friendly staff. Beautiful location loads to see & do in the area. Play areas fantastic esp zip wire which I had to test out before the kids. We had loads of fun in the river.Would recommend walking up Jacobs ladder & visiting Harestanes country park. Kids loved the site shop with all the sweets.Niel was very helpful when w needed him because of electric cable not working despite having broken his foot. If I had to give suggestions it would be few more showers or even a family shower unit so my husband can help me showering our girls. Also marked pitches as we booked with friends but when we came to set up there were no pitches next to each other so we had to squeeze on one as everyone just pitched where ever. Thanks Niel & gang for a brilliant & much needed holiday.

Friendly welcome and a nice small shop on site for basics, facilities looked good for kids although we did not need them.

Toilets / showers were perfectly fine, the location next to the river was lovely although because we were there in wet weather it was a bit muddy but the pitches are nice and level.

Would have preferred it was closer to town so you do need the car to do any shopping needed, nothing in walking distance. Did not use our satellite but do have a good digital service.

Only reason I wouldn't return is because of the distance from town.

Nice secluded site, but very dated, a site map would be helpful. The facilities need updating and more showers are needed especially in busy times.

The washing up area is not nice, dirty sinks and lots of flies. Bushes around the toilet block need cutting back. Jedburgh is a lovely town with lot to see. The owner was helpful with local walks and taxi services.

Enjoyed everything about this site from being a rural location the river the small clubhouse and the pitches available. Spent a very enjoyable weekend with friends and would definitely return.

We climbed Jacobs ladder fully recommend to get fit, plenty of walks with deer park nearby. In spite of being busy the evenings were surprisingly quiet, and all people were friendly.

Could possibly do with another toilet block if I was to be picky.

As I used to live in Jedburgh, I am used to the 'slower pace' lifestyle, waiting to be booked in, no site map etc so this wasn't a problem to us. The main issue we had was the cleanliness of the shower / toilet block, cobwebs and dirty.

Facilities were ok, shop tended to be more of a kids tuck shop rather than for essentials.

The nearest shops are in the town-a good 5-10 mins drive but once there they are very good.

The clubhouse was popular with kids, pool table etc-but only really suitable for the kids to play.

Relaxed about arrival and departure times, meant that we could arrive at 11am on the Saturday and leave at 5pm on the Sunday giving a 'proper' weekend break.

Check in is at the house and you get to choose your pitch - we went right on the riverbank.

Showers & loos clean and never had to queue.

Some lovely walks around the area.

We've just booked to go again and at £20 a night including EHU not out of the way price wise.

Would recommend.

We were very disappointed with this site. The price is very high for the facilities and service you get.

We arrived for the bank holiday weekend. When I phoned earlier to see what time I could arrive I was told by the daughter who was around 12 to come at any time??

When we got on site, which was very easy to find just off the A68, we were told to park in the layby and go to the house to book in. There was no reception which I feel would have been better. The lady was friendly but no info was given about the site. We had to find water points and toilet blocks on our own. I think a site map would have been helpful. She said turn in next to the shop and pitch anywhere along the river side.

When we got to the touring area there were picnic benches dotted in various places. Good for the tents that were there but it meant that some of the pitches were restricted for caravans.

The toilets were clean but a little dated and there were only 2 showers.

There's a small shop but that was only open 9am-10am and 6pm-7pm. There is wifi on site as well but you pay extra for that

My 11 and 13 yr old did love the zip wire and the large football field but this was away from the touring area and can not be seen from there. As is the kids play park which had a good range of play equipment.

The thing that really made me upset was the electrics tripping. On the Saturday they went off. The owner came and put it back on after 30 mins. Great

The next night was colder and guess what they went off again. Only this time he had to come out 5 times as it kept going off. He said it was because everyone had their heaters on.

I will def not be returning to this site.

Visited this campsite with my Husband and son (age 6).

The campsite is very easy to find but it's not within walking distance of Jedburgh.

I had phoned and booked a pitch for 3 nights - when we arrived we couldn't find anyone to book us in. Ended up going to the house at the start of the site, we were told to pitch wherever we wanted along the river side and pay before we left. Picked a nice sheltered spot then another family drove in behind us and parked their caravan approx 2 meters from our tent.

No information was given with regards to the facilities on the site, where shower / toilet blocks were etc.

The kids playpark is good but it's at the opposite end of the site from the tents.

The site has mainly static caravans and it felt like the tents and tourers were put in the dog walking section, there was dog dirt everywhere.

We ended up leaving after 2 nights and going elsewhere.

Ok for a stop over but wouldn't stay much longer.

On arrival we were directed to the house of the owners we were greeted by a very pleasant lady but the information in regards to facilities available eg shop, location of toilets etc were not given, we were given very vague direction to our pitch which we did find. The park itself caters primarily for the static caravan owners. There is a well provided play area for children and a games room which appeared well use.

The toilets were initially clean and warm but did not appear to have a cleaning schedule and cubicle were found to be unclean at times and no re stocking of toilet tissue. At £25 per night it seems overpriced for the facilities and service we experienced.

It seems to be used by a regular clientèle and we found it very un friendly to the extent our caravan got stuck with no help from anyone around.
