We visited the site end of march and I was blown away by how beautiful a setting it is in. The site is right on the shoreline and the views are terrific. The toilets are spotless and the site owners very nice. The pub at the entrance to the site is friendly and the restaurant is busy although we never tried it. The village is great to wander about in. It has a licensed grocer where you can get everything you would need. The people that were on the site all seemed to have been going there for years so that speaks for itself. Mobile phone signal was poor but telly was good.We will be back for sure.

A really lovely small site, clean and tidy and in a perfect position right on the waters edge. The local hotel is only yards away and serve up good grub and a decent pint The village is neat and tidy and nice walks all around for all levels of fitness.
Kids will have to be watched as the rocks on the beach will keep them amused for hours but could be quite dangerous.

This is a cracking little site. Facilites are all well maintained and the staff are lovely. Probably the best thing about the site is its location. Findochty is a lovely wee village. The site is right by the sea with beautiful views, particularly at sunset. If you're lucky you might even see the dolphins which regularly pass by. We had a great time puddling on the stony beach and clambering over rocks along the coastal path.
The only down side for us was the rather uneven and stony pitches available for tents. The tent area is also furthest from the facilities, though given the size of the site its not too far. All in all though I would absolutely recommend this site!

Some people call it Finechty Caravan Park; others Findochty. Whatever, this is one of the best little parks in east Scotland. The location cannot be bested anywhere. It's set in one of the prettiest villages on what could be part of the most stunning coastline anywhere. The site itself is on a broad level strip of rock between the foot of the cliffs and the edge of the pebbled beach. Rocks jut out into the sea, and the views are stunning, both seawards and over the little harbour next door to the site. The village is one of the prettiest in Scotland - and it's functional. The pub is immediately next to the entrance to site and an excellent shop is no more that a short walk up the hill. The harbour is quaint, although it seems to be mainly a marina these days. The site is easily accessible for caravans and motorhomes. The toilet and shower block was colourful and kept as clean as a whistle. They reminded of my grandmother's bathroom in Weymouth from 40 years ago - drapes, covers and carpets. Some hardstandings are available, all with hook-up; the grass pitches seemed just as firm under-tyres. They have all the facilties you'd expect - water, MV dump point and Chemical disposal, and laundry. A few statics are on the site, but they don't interfere with the touring pitches. The site itself is on the Moray Coastal Path and you'll find plenty of good walking from the site. And the proprietors are friendly and helpful. If you want to stay at one camp site in Moray or Aberdeenshire, make it this one. You'll end up wanting to stay days.
