We came across this campsite through a friend, and tried to book for 3 nights without luck. However, on the off-chance I tried again a few days before we were due to go and managed to get in. So glad we did!
There was no-one at reception when we arrived, but the sign directed us to the bungalow at the bottom of the site. My only criticism is there is no clear signage on the bungalow itself (a few doors and gates we were going to try until we found one of the owner-family who was polite and helpful, directing us to our pitch).
Unfortunately, due to heavy rain the day before (don't let the weather put you off, this area is stunning), he said that it would be better for us if we pitched in an area normally for tourers. We were happy to do this, (and never went into the second camping field so couldn't say anything about it), so we were in the middle between the sets of facilities. The first camping field was good however, nicely segregated pitches, near the pool and play ground.
For kids, the playground is a happy find, two large areas for the kids to play and run off steam, and a great outdoor pool with paddling section for little ones (and slightly warmer than the main pool!). We spent a lot of time in the pool, which was well maintained, with a gent checking the water quality during the day. The toilets were regularly cleaned, the showers nice warm and free, and 10p for hot water to wash dishes with. There were only 2 sinks in the facilities between camping fields, but we never waited to use them.
The on site shop stocked few items, but it looked great for kids who wanted to buy the odd treat (I wouldn't let my 8 year old go to the village shop but the on site shop was considered safe by me for him). The shop was next to the games room too, which had 2 pool tables, a video game, some books and board games to borrow too. The snooker room was only for over 18's, and I only saw it open once whilst we were there.
The nearby shop was 2 minute walk away. This stocked basics, with fresh bread, rolls, sausage rolls and croissants in the morning :) ). There is another local shop in nearby Manobier which stays open until 9PM. I can't comment on the pub as we didn't go there.
My kids loved it here, and I would have stayed an extra night if my friend didn't have to return to work earlier than expected. The owners were really accommodating whilst we were debating an extra night, and let us stay on site to dry out our tents after morning rain on the day we left. We even had a last dip in the pool whilst we were waiting!
The Beach and castle at Manobier looked stunning, but we spent most of our time in Tenby because of its multiple purposes (shops, chippies and gorgeous beaches) ;the park and ride for Tenby is £3, so better than trying to find a car park in the small streets, (but the bus was really busy on the weekend). I didn't get chance to do any nearby walking (due to my kids wanting to spend most of the time at the campsite), but the beach at Skrinkle Haven is supposed to be worth a look too. There's so much more to see!

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this very well kept and organised site. Upon arrival we were shown to our pitch by the owners who were very friendly and helpful. Our pitch was in a field of 10 tents, which were all marked out clearly, with ample space for tent and car, ours being a very large 10 man tent. The grass was cut short with no left over grass cuttings.
Our EHU was not long enough to reach from the electric point to our tent, so were were kindly given a lend of an extension from the owners for a deposit of £20, we were given this back at the end of the stay once the extention had been returned.
The campsite is in a prime location and only a short car journey from nearby beaches such as Tenby, Saundersfoot and Manorbier. Also near to Folly Farm, Oakwood, Heatherton etc.
The toilet block was always clean and shower had hot water. The on site pool and park were very well maintained and clean, kept the kids amused for hours. There is also a separate field for ball games, cricket etc. There are no pets allowed on this site which suited us as other peoples dogs barking late at night can be somewhat annoying.
There is an on site shop, unfortunately this wasn't open during our stay, but the local shop was within a 5 min walk, and stocked most essentials. There is also a pub right next to the campsite which was lovely and reasonably priced.
All in all we had a fantastic stay at this campsite and will definitely be returning in the future.

Just returned from our first camping trip [3 days]. We arrived at the site and were pleasantly surprised at how well kept and organised the site looked. Being our first ever camping trip my wife and 2 children were a bit anxious about this new experience but we were quickly put at ease by the lady who welcomed us she guided us to our pitch and and wished us a happy stay from that moment we never looked back. We pitched up and settled in. As far as the facilities go they were a bit outdated but I have to say must have been cleaned every few hours so for us they were more than acceptable. The pool is a nice size but is solar heated so if a bit overcast can be a bit cold but that did not put off the kids on the site. The children's park was tucked away behind some large hedges but the children seemed to have a lot of fun. There is also a large field with goal posts for a kick about. The on site shop is not that well stocked but just a 2 min walk there is a village shop with everything you could possibly need and at a reasonable price. As far as the site is concerned it is perfectly positioned on the pembrokeshire coast just a short trip from saundersfoot/ tenby /manorbier/ lydstep beach and freshwater east just to name a few. Overall this site ticks all the boxs although we have never camped before so its hard to compare but for us we will definitely be visiting here again and will be recommending the site to our friends as a family run basic but very clean site with all the requirements for a happy stay situated in the perfect area.

Thought about not leaving a review as we are a bit reluctant to advertise this fabulous park in case it gets really busy! We have just returned from our second 2 week stay and we have again absolutely loved it. The location is prime for all the lovely Pembrokeshire Beaches and towns. The park is very clean, well maintained and is the perfect size for families with young children. There is a pool on the park which was never overly busy as it is open until 7pm. There is a lovely pub/restaurant at the entrance although it is not part of the park. The owners were very amenable to our needs (both times we have booked extra nights at the end of our scheduled holiday)and they have still allowed us extra time to pack up. It is family run and they are always about and busy checking everything is ok on the park. Can't recommend enough. Fabulous time x 2

This is a really well run campsite with some very child friendly additions, like the swimming pool and play area.
The facilities are a bit outdated, with only one shower and 2 toilets in the block that we were pitched close to. There was another shower block with 3 showers and 4-5 toilets but this was a bit of a trek from our pitch.
The main selling point is the proximity to both Tenby and Pembroke, with all of the beautiful beaches between these two towns. Angel was the best that we visited with a beautiful stretch of sand.
The site shop was hardly open, and wasn't well stocked but there is a shop 5 mins walk away.
As stated, the main selling point is the swimming pool, which claims to be solar heated, which in essence means its heated by the sun-I. E. It was cold, but hey, the kids loved it.

We camped here for a few days to make the most of the last days of the school holidays. We arrived and checked in. The lane from the main road to the site is single track. We booked a pitch with EHU. We were shown to our pitch but due to the tents either side we could fit in! No problem though as we were told to use the field on the other side of the hedge and run the cable through. This worked to our benefit in two ways. Firstly it was the field next to the play area. This meant we could keep an eye on the little ones. Secondly, it acted as a brilliant wind break!
The site is very slightly sloping but that is to be expected. We were fortunate that it only rained once overnight whilst we were there. I got the impression though that the ground could hold some water if it got wet for any length of time. My view may be skewed by the fact that were not in one of the recognised camping fields. The main camping fields looked as if proper drainage channels had been dug in them so poor drainage should not be a problem.
There is a little shop on site but we didn't really use it. In fact as more people left it shut for longer periods. Not a problem though as there is a little store two minutes walk from the site that stocks pretty much all the essentials. We loved the fresh baked croissants from it on a Sunday morning for breakfast!
There are toilets on both the camping and caravanning fields. They are clean. The showers take 20p. They last about 5 mins and are warm. If I was going to be picky I'd say toilets could do with a little modernisation. There is also a washing up block in the camping field that takes 10p and a laundrette in the caravanning block.
The site is really convenient for getting to Tenby, Pembroke and Oakwood theme park and Blue Water complex. Blue water is good if you want to spend a couple of hours messing about in the pool. There is a pub just next to the site which has live music. We went to try and get a meal there but it was fully booked. It is supposed to be very nice though. There are loads of great beaches near the site that it could fill a book!
Overall, a nice small site which we'd be happy to stay at again.

Well we arrived on this site in August in rain. Our tent pitch( pitches, because we had to book 2 as the Idaho XL does not quite fit on 1!) was sloping and a bit sodden. There were other pitches that the owners had to close because they were just too wet. The toilet blocks by the tent pitches were adequate but the ones nearer the site entrance were better.
The playground was tucked away and seems to have had a few new bits of equipment but again it was almost a bog. The pool was very cold and closed most of the time because it wasn't sunny. The shop was closed most of the time but a friendly local shop a very short walk out the campsite makes up for this.
The local pub serves some decent ale and the food is of a good standard. We were told not to park by our tent for 2 days because the ground was churning up so much.
Overall I would say in fine weather it would be a pleasant site to stay on. It's about a 10 minute drive outside of Tenby, which is a delightful town to spend some time, although parking in the town can get awkward in peak season. The hard standing for caravans looked fine. Value wise it's not great when you take into account a hook up and 20p to shower, clean dishes.

We telephoned and booked this site en-route and were pleasantly surprised.
It was a very clean and tidy site with a friendly atmosphere.
Shower and toilet facilities were basic but absolutely fine. The ones near the tents were closed so we didn't see them - we had to walk to the site's main entrance. It was very, very quiet but we were there at the start of July before the school holidays (small shop and pool were not in use).
Local coast was stunning.

Nice quiet well run site. Toilets and showers clean and well maintained. Site manager very friendly and helpful. Despite a week of heavy rain we were nice and dry on a hard stand at the top end of the site, but the tents at the lower end were having a harder time of it. I would recommend this site, and go there again myself

Site very quiet, clean and friendly. Ladies toilets and showers were always clean. It costs 20p for a shower which just about lasts long enough if you get undressed first and have all washing things to hand. Never had to queue at all for the 10 days that we were there. My son, nephews and nieces went in the swimming pool which is solar heated. Water in it not very warm so didn't stay in the pool too long - but still very nice. The pitches were not very well drained and so when it did rain it got quite squelchy under feet. (we moved to gloucestershire afterwards for a few days and the pitches there were very well drained - no problem at all). The only draw back with the site is that the shop only sells a very few items of food. They sell milk, eggs and sausage but no bacon, butter, bread, etc. The nearest big stores are approximately 3 miles away in Pembroke - Tesco and Asda's.
