 We stayed here for just one night. We only live up the road and wanted to test our outfit and give it a run out! The hardstandings are fine and back on to a quiet road. There are electric hookups all around the field but due to the weather we gave these a miss. We would definitely ask for one of these next time. No showers or toilets but water and waste was available. You need to treat this as a 'rally field' with hookup, and use your caravan facilities. John the owner is a nice guy and pretty laid back, we could turn up as early as we wanted and leave when ready - no time pressure. Obviously you would need to check this when booking and again on arriving just incase he is expecting another arrival.
The Tea Rooms are gorgeous. Clean and friendly with a good menu. At the time of staying, you could have two courses for approx £7. Home made and home cooked food - no frozen stuff here! The cakes and puddings were fantastic but not good if you are watching the waist line! Helpful and friendly staff.
Market Bosworth park is just across the road with a rustic adventure playground, arboretum and walks. Great for the kids to have a good run around. Bosworth town is a 10 minute stroll and there are a selection of shops - Co-op, butchers, green grocers, florists and gallery/gift shops etc. A few pubs too. If you want a 'proper' restaurant experience, then Market Bosworth Hall is on the door step.
We shall be going back again - we felt like we had really been on holiday, but we literally only live 7 minutes up the road!

Superb site although no toilets or showers. A peaceful site and a great owner John who will do anything for you to have a great stay. Have stayed here a lot last year 2006 and can not fault it. There's fishing close by and some nice pubs in the town which is only a walk away. I would say this is a great site with a very nice owner

Been to this site three times now. A great basic site for the more equipped tourer. No toilets or showers plenty of taps and great area in the centre for children or adults to play games in. Bosworth is a 25min walk from site but plenty of little local shops in small centre. Site is £10 per night £1 extra for awnings / canopy's. Very nice site for a quick weekend away.

Excellent, reasonably quiet site. The owner (John) was very friendly and helpful, and there is a very nice tea rooms/restaurant on site where we found the food to be of a very high quality. The only downside to this site is that there are no shower/washing up facilities, so would only consider it in future as a stop-over or weekend location to stay rather than somewhere to stay for a week or two (unless you had on-board facilities for keeping clean). But would give it a good 7/10
