We come to this site every year for the Moto GP. Toilets/showers are fine. Food is spot on and at a reasonable price (compared to the track)! The local pub is only a 2 minute bike ride or 10 minute walk and is always a good laugh. The local shop is really good for those essentials.
The site is always quiet unlike some others where you are up all night.
I would recommend this site for families or for the quieter types.

Two visits to this site, for the F1 race.
Friendly camp site with good toilets and showers.
Breakfast rolls provided on the lawn near the lake at a reasonable price. All the staff friendly and helpful, if there is a problem, they will sort it.
After thefts from our tent at another campsite, we choose this one as an alternative, we were not disappointed.
Police patrol regularly but the type of campers on site need no policing
Close to local pub that provides good hot food and village store that provides for most of campers needs.
Left after 2011 GP and rebooked for 2012. See you in 2013

Returned here for the Moto GP and really enjoyed the stay again. Great, hot showers and toilets that are in a block and cleaned regularly. The food is fab and good value, lots of choice, nice marquee to sit in. The ladies who serve & cook are friendly and welcoming. They even gave the local coppers teas & coffees, to keep extra security around!
Heard some bad reports about noise & crime/thefts at other campsites. Highly recommend this one for safety and a quiet night!

I stayed on the site for 3 nights in my tent for the MOTO GP. Upon arrival was directed to a pitch. The owner was informed 2 other members were arriving later, he saved 2 pitches for them, this was great. We received a warm welcome from the lady, she greeted us with a cup of tea which after a 2 hour ride was just what was needed.
The site is spotless, very quiet at night and just in the right location for the track. The 2 young ladies who did the cooking were very welcoming and the food which was freshly cooked was a third of the price we were paying in the track.
The toilets were clean as were the showers. Nothing is too much trouble for this family run site. We enjoyed it so much we have already booked for next year.

Stayed here for the 2010 Moto GP, our first time in a caravan and at Silverstone. We received a warm welcome and soon settled in. Based just a short walk from Silverstone village, where there's a pub and a local shop which sold everything you could need.
The site was nice and quiet at night, the toilets and showers were always clean. Breakfast and dinners were served, but as it was out first 'caravan' holiday, we wanted to cook for ourselves. It did look very nice from what we saw though!
The track was a 20 minute walk (with 4 year old daughter in tow) So would recommend this site definitely, will be back next year.

Lovely farm setting with fantastic views of local forest and surrounding countryside. Good facilities for camping. Hot showers & clean toilets. Short walk to Silverstone village pub, shops and 15 minutes walk from track. Friendlier, quieter atmosphere, than those nearer the track. We had a fantastic time and will book for next Grand Prix - Highly recommended.

Campsite really beautiful, A bit pricey for a piece of grass with electric or non electric. Toilet block was in a barn. Good place to set up camp for a couple of days if going to watch grand prix
