What a little gem of a site. It's all spotless - grounds and facilities. We only stayed two nights but would love to come again. The pitches are a good size with good hard standing and a good piece of grass each.

The flower beds are very well kept and each pitch has easy access to a hookup and water. Only one shower and toilet but it worked ok with 5 pitches taken. It was lovely to have a shower that didn't have the usual push button.

The lady running the site was very friendly. £14 a night and £4. 80 for 2 days' electricity. Handy for access to everything locally. We didn't eat out this time.

We've just returned from a two night stay here and it was a really lovely site. Everywhere was beautifully well kept, the grass and flowerbeds were as good as you'd find in a private garden, the location is ideal for walking into the village which has pubs, shops and fish and chip shops and we found everyone we met very friendly which is always a bonus!

There's only one toilet and shower but we never had to wait and that too was very well looked after. We were in the area to meet up with friends but will definitely return to explore further, especially as the site is open all year and we do like to escape out of season too.

Well done on a super little site!

Another lovely stay at this quiet, small, no-fuss site.

Easy access to main road but no disturbing noise.

Very pleasant owners, helpful, available without being around too much.

Everything that is needed, all facilities and very colourful gardens – much appreciated.

So really useful to have a site on which you can walk your dog!

(I can never understand why some sites say they are dog-friendly, but do not allow you to walk your dog on-site. This makes life unnecessarily difficult. )

Already booked in for later in the year.

Sad to hear of the passing of Jim. Used to watch him tending the gardens from his scooter. RIP.

This small site has space for 5 tourers and a couple of tents. We have just returned after spending the May day bank holiday weekend in a Static which the owners have. It's a 37 x 12 two bedroom Willerby Aspen.

Really enjoyed the space & it's well kept. Gas/Electric all included a £40 per night per 2 people. Extra people pay £20 each - It's adults only.

We've just returned from a lovely 9 nights at Beacon House. The site is small and friendly, and while the owners are unobtrusive, they'll stop for a chat whenever you like too. The site was full most of the time we were there, and although there's only one loo and shower, we never had to queue for these. We paid £14 a night, and had £32 electricity, (16 amp), to pay at the end of our stay, which worked out at around £3. 50 a night.

Therefore the pitch worked out at £17. 50 a night which in our opinion was well worth it and considerably cheaper than most of the others in the area.

We were able to have some lovely walks right around the Flamborough headland and back, down to Danes Dyke, and we had a couple of trips out to Filey and Scarborough which are only a short distance away.

We also had a meal in a local pub and went to the village's New Year celebrations which were complete with viking longboat and an amazing fireworks display, a really good night. There was another couple with 3 dogs which were a bit noisy, and there is a little traffic noise, but it's really a lovely peaceful site.

The current owners have only had it a year and are obviously making inroads into turning it into a fantastic wee site. I love the far NW of Scotland for camping, and that is the bar that others have to achieve, but we really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone after a little peace and quiet. I can still hear the fog whistle in the distance!

Another lovely stay at this peaceful little site.

Again, made very welcome by the owners who take pride in their site.

The bedding plants and shrubs are still lovely and all areas look very well cared for.

The site was exceptionally clean with clearly labelled rubbish bins.

We were the only people there for 3 nights and then one other unit arrived on the day we left so the whole site was very peaceful.

There is very easy access to all areas around here.

We found Danes Dyke beach which, as long as the tide is out, was absolutely gorgeous.

Took some lovely photos.

We will be returning to see the Christmas decorations at Burton Agnes Hall, which, last year, were out of this world, but may well visit again before then.

This was our first stay on this charming, peaceful site.

I found a small, pretty, well-kept site on the outskirts of Flamborough. I was welcomed immediately, chatted to and shown to my pitch.

The site is extremely clean and much attention has been paid to the planting of flowers and shrubs. Each pitch has hard-standing and dogs are welcomed. There is a large area of grass between each pitch, allowing more privacy than on some sites. The owners are readily available should any problems occur.

The charge for electricity is off-set by the low cost of the pitch itself and the fact that there is no extra charge for awnings or dogs.

The wonderful Sewerby Hall and Burton Agnes Hall Estates, North Landing beach, cliff-top walks, Danes Dyke Nature Reserve, the Model Village and Bridlington itself are all very near. We will definitely be visiting again. There is a very calm atmosphere here.

This is a lovely little campsite with very friendly and helpful owners. We stayed for 4 nights and loved the area for walking. Great walk over the road through Danes Dyke, you can walk for miles. Flamborough had 4 pubs! Absolutely wonderful fish and chips at the lighthouse chip shop, best ever. Seabirds pub very good but make sure you book.

Our only criticism for the site was the facilities. There is only 1 shower and toilet. Only 6 pitches but still in need of updating. We had a lovely stay.

What a gem of a site and a great find, , , , , , under new ownership since the end of last year, and they are all so helpful.

Stayed for 3 nights and would have stayed longer only for hospital appointments, , , ,

We only used 3 units of electric so only cost £14 a day for the pitch and 30p a day for electric, but we do have solar panels so makes it easy for us as we don't use much electric.

We will definitely be back but with it only having 6 pitches we might struggle, as when others find this place they will think the same as us.

We stayed one night to visit Flamborough Head - the directions are good the entrance is right on the welcome to town sign. Well laid out pitches with hard standing and EHC's. Single Toilet/shower is basic and acceptable. There is a great dog walk near the end of the site in the left with a good chance to see deer. Nice walk into town with good selection of shops and pubs - in particular the Dog & Duck where the dog had treats while we enjoyed the real ale. Good local walks - we will add this to our list of good sites for a return visit
