Stayed here during a mild few days in October 2011. First time camping as a family - myself, partner and our nine year old son.
The owners were very friendly, gave us a warm welcome and the facilities were spotless. The site was very pleasant and peaceful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
We visited the butterfly and wildlife park in Long Sutton which has some lovely animals and insects etc.
We also visited Bay Tree nurseries with its owl centre and got to hold several beautiful owls. The pet centre here is also a good visit for children and there is an on site restaurant not to mention lots of plants for those horticulturally minded. A good day out.
We would definitely consider returning to this site in the future.

Excellent site, quiet, friendly & clean. Greeted on arrival & shown around.
Toilets & showers very clean if a bit small, washing up area excellent + good little shop selling most things (ice creams !)
Were given map of surrounding area by owners showing pubs, towns restaurants etc which turned out to be really useful.
We had several good days out to local towns, including Spalding where much to my sons delight he was allowed to drive the river taxi.
Will definitely return in future for longer stay.

We booked the bank holiday weekend to meet up with some friends of ours. Upon arrival we were greeted by Chris and Fiona (the owners) and shown to our pitch next to our friends who had already arrived. The site is flat but well sheltered by a large conifer hedge all around the property but this didn't block the sun (when there was some to be had). The site is quite spacious and the pitches (all grass) well spaced out.
The toilet/shower facilities were spotless and very well maintained as were the washing up facilities. There was a small shop on site that sold basics (and home made jam).
The site is about 2 miles from the A17 and access is good. We were only 10 minutes drive from the Wash and probably about 20 minutes from King's Lynn. We drove to Cromer in about an hour (it was further then we thought) but Sheringham and Hunstanton are closer as is Sandringham.
The owners (who have only been there about 12 months) we very friendly and helpful but weren't obtrusive in anyway. If they continue to develop the site it will turn into a top quality site. They've obviously done their homework and deserve to succeed. We will definitely be going back.

An excellent site. A credit to the owners who were very helpful. Spotlessly clean. Lovely clean toilets and showers, a lovely patio area with picnic tables and umbrellas. This site boasts a shop with all your essentials.
A lovely sheltered, level site. Come on you campers give this site the visit it deserves. Excellent washing up facilities too. We will definitely be visiting again.
The site is quiet which is just what we like and are looking for a site. With lovely walks along the surrounding lanes, and the cycle route is excellent. Michael took his bike and enjoyed his cycle rides. A must for cyclers.

We've just returned from a lovely relaxing 3 night stay at Laurel Park.
We were very warmly greeted by the 2 owners and given a choice of pitches with EHU. We were shown where all the facilities are - there is a shower block which housed male/female facilities, basic but extremely clean. Next door is a pot washing room, again very clean. There is a reception/shop selling basic essential items, and a courtyard with 4 picnic benches which are available for all to use.
The site is immaculately kept, and the pitches are well spaced out. It is surrounded by very tall conifer trees giving a feeling of privacy and seclusion.
The owners are a lovely couple who are unobtrusive yet sociable and made us feel very welcome. They were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We took our dog with us and she was warmly welcomed - in fact they wanted her to stay!
If you are looking for a peaceful real camping break away from the hustle and bustle of life then this is the place for you. I cannot think of anything negative to say and will definitely return.

What a wonderful campsite! Situated in rural Lincolnshire, it is a lovely, quiet site within easy reach of the coast and many other places of interest. The surrounding, beautiful conifer trees add privacy and a natural shield against the elements. Lots of space so you don't feel crowded and room for the kids to run around (supervised).
This was our second visit here and we were very impressed with the new facilities they have installed: newly refurbished toilet and shower blocks (cleaned regularly and to a very high standard); brand new wash room; a small shop selling the basic essentials plus a few treats that will appeal to the kids (not to mention Fiona's delicious home made jam!); a new open picnic area and plenty of recycling bins so campers can dispose of their waste responsibly.
The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and will do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
All in all, a very pleasant stay and we would certainly recommend this site.

Just returned from a long weekend here and this is a great peaceful site with great access to lincolnshire and the coast of the wash.
Facilities are spot on and cannot be faulted. Owners are doing a great job and offered us a warm welcome and a nice secluded spot. The facilities are spotless, great shower/toilet unit and washing up room with hot water on tap. They are also in process of setting up a little shop offering essential food and supplies, which came in handy when needed milk at 7. 30 in the morning.
There were two sets of recycle/bins/chemical disposal points and electric hook up was ideal.
A great small and friendly site which is ideal for a getaway.
Our 4 year also old found plenty to do running around the space provided so it's child friendly too.

Really enjoyed our visit here as part of a large volunteer group.
The site owners kept the facilities spotless even though there were loads of us coming and going.
They couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. As we arrived early we enjoyed the peaceful and pretty surroundings including a nice patio area with picnic tables & site shop for our use.
Also loads of room not packed together. The fens offer some lovely surprises not least 'The Wash' and Sir Peters Scotts Lighthouse.
Would come again. I would recommend ear plugs though if you don't like the dawn chorus. Lovely site.

So I was looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet with easy access to the beach for our two big dogs and within 3 hours from home.
Lincolnshire is a new area to me so I found Laurel park through this site.
On arrival we were met with a friendly smile and given the choice of the site, surprisingly we were the only people there, we tucked ourselves in a corner out of the wind but within easy reach of the WC etc.
The site itself is about 3 acres of flat and well manicured grass with ample taps, bins and space. I cant say if it would be crowded, it certainly wasn't when we were there.
The toilets were spotless as where the showers, a single shower / WC in both the male and females, plenty of hot water and a clean towel every day.
At the moment the owners are currently rebuilding the washing area so we were unable to wash our cups etc in their facilities but being of the more basic of campers we were happy to boil water and use a washing up bowl.
If the washing area is bought to the same standard as the showers etc it will be great.
I know the owners have only been on site for a year but they are certainly making good progress in revitalising this site.
I would recommend a visit if you want a nice quiet time within easy reach of lots of attractions, most of which you will have to drive to.
In essence the site met our needs, peaceful, spacious, unintrusive owners and easy access to the sea.

We stayed here for a couple of nights to try out our new Skandika tent.
We found the site was fantastic. The site is well protected by high trees all around and the grass is nice and flat.
The toilets were spotless but quite small. A very friendly welcome and the owners were great. They took us to our pitch and were always on hand if you needed anything.
A perfect site for a relaxing getaway or for visiting the area, Skegness is within driving distance for a day trip.
This is a new venture for the owners and I am sure it will be a huge success for them.
