Visited this site July. This site has a small shop, quite a nice, but small, pool and a large clubhouse all of which seemed quite new. There is also a playground for the kids which is very close and handy. A walk along the sea frount into Dymchurch is good also the miniture railway is also very close by. A good fish and chip shop just past the station in New Romney and very resonable. The main criticism is they seem to have refurbished the site but havent touched the toilet block one of the worst I have seen shame good site bad loos

Stayed at this site over what must have been one of the coldest, wettest, windiest, most miserable Easter weekends for years so to be fair probably did not see the site at its best. The touring field itself although flat with nicely cut grass was very muddy and numerous cars and caravans got bogged down over the weekend and required assistance to remove them from the field.
Pitches were large and there was plenty of space. There were numerous power cuts over the weekend so some fairly prolonged periods without any electricity.
The toilet block previously referred to by customers appears to have been shut and at the present time these facilities are located in small portacabins. These were reasonably clean but cold! It did look like building work may have been being carried out to the previous toilet blocks, so it may be that the portacabins are only temporary.
We found the staff friendly and helpful and liked the bar and clubhouse and enjoyed the evening entertainment. However, some areas of the touring field seem to be being used as a 'rubbish dump', the view from our front window was of two old off pitch static caravans and the remains of a bonfire, along with rubbish in the hedges. Shame because with a bit of a tidy up it could be a very nice touring park

I've been to Marlie Farm a few times over the years & I have to say the place has gone downhill a touch. They need to sort out their 'Friday the 13th' shower block + put a duster round it every now and then. Went on Bank Holiday weekend, and it was a case of 'spot the tent' - the place has been been taken over by caravans. Tents appear to have been relegated to the outside ring (doesn't bother me - as I like to pitch under a bit of tree shelter). Can't see me going back to Marlie Farm for a while, although, I might pop in at some point to see if they've done anything to those showers!

We have just come back from a weekend here and while the campsite itself was adequate and had plenty of room, because it is a large site, it was loud! There was a mobile disco going on at one end and several groups playing loud music at the other end. - There was not a "No loud Music" policy here ! The toilets/Washrooms were adequate, but a bit tatty and old - they did the job though and by no means offensive. The site is relatively good value with a pub and Sainsbury's near by too. Good for kids and families not too good for a quiet weekend with the OH.

Just come back form spending the august bank holiday weekend there. The site is very large and was filled to capacity. We found the site very noisy in evening, club house is open till 2am on fri, sat evenings and people don't walk back to their pitch quietly no matter what the time. Facilities were quite basic, not a plug to be seen in a sink anywhere which is difficult if you don't take a washing up bowl for your dirty crockery. Decent size play area for children but again this is still used way after dark. Plenty of hook up pitches which was great and sainsbury's just up road - very handy! Two dog walking fields both of decent size. Cafe on site served great food if you didn't feel like cooking.

May 2005 Visited last bank Holiday. Really busy, had to have non-electric, so that was real camping for us! Although the sight was very full, we were given plenty of space. Toilets were very clean, but had difficulty finding our way out, could do with an exit sign. New Club house had just opened that weekend which was really nice. Had to be there for 7 to get a seat, which is really annoying when the sun is still out! Too long a night if we took our kids there that early, so could not get a seat after 8, so missed entertainment as we had to sit in the old clubhouse. Managed to get a seat at 10.30 when entertainment finished, but disco continued until midnight. Sainsburys right next door which was really handy. Swimming pool too small for amount of campers there, and this you had to pay extra for.

May 2005 Just visited this site (May bank holiday 05) toilet block bit outdated but fairly clean. Poss a bit short on toilets when site got very busy. Play area has seen better days but useable. Bar area new club house just opened very nice but still small for size of site, tables go very quick. Most likely would visit again if couldn't find anywhere else to pitch as £38 for two nights is quite expensive for what you get.

August 2004 Visited the site twice last year. It was busy but there is plenty of space. Can be noisy till late. You get woken up by birds in a morning and rabbits running around the tents. My kids enjoyed this site, the clubhouse with entertainment is good but get in early for a seat, it does get busy. There is also a few nice pubs a short walk away with gardens. We didn't use the pool as you need to book in advance. There is a games room with pool table. The cafe/shop does good food, chips, burgers, breakfasts etc. There is a play area for kids with plenty of room for playing football as well. The shower block could do with updating. There is a security guard that walks around alot. We will be visiting the site again this year.

August 2004 I used to visit this site nearly every weekend from 1980-1990 firstly with my parents, brother and sister and then with my girlfriend (now wife)and various other friends. This was a great site then with a few statics but mainly campers. The pool / bar and amusements had just been opened by this time and the toilet block changed about a bit. I did not visit again until August 2004 due to buying house / starting family etc. what a shock!!! Now seems like they are more interested in statics as they seem to be taking more and more of the site and the toilet block was as it was back in 1990 but with 14 years of vandalism and neglect (toilets not flushing/sinks riped of the walls etc) and at £25 p/night for caravan+4 with elec very expensive i thought, but all is not lost I notice that now under new management.hopefully they will stop the static onslaught and sort out the toilets and become a great camp site once again!!!

August 2004 Visited August Bank Holiday. Very overcroweded, every available space was used. If you enjoy bingo, chips, and lots of noise, then this is the site for you.
We didn't stay long enough to try any of the facilities, but the children enjoyed the playground, though it had seen better days.
Afraid we will not be returning.
