August 2004 Just got back (literally) after 4 days away at this campsite. What can I say? The owners, Kevin & Sue, are fantastic. They are very friendly and helpful. They work very hard making you welcome and keeping the site clean & tidy. The on-site shop has the bare essentials, but the owners will help you out where they can (we forgot can opener, so they lent us theirs) Showers are hot & free, washing up facilities are hot & free, in short, an excellent campsite! we stopped over bank holiday weekend, Kevin was mainly concerned that we had enough space (tent!). Great place to eat, I don't know if I should be telling you this, is the Three Horseshoes. Looks like a shed but the food and the price is fantastic! but nowhere to sit outside if you have a dog! Will be definately going there again!!

August 2004 My mum was rushed into Boston hospital while we was in Skeggy so I phoned this site to see if they have any pitches avalible after explaining the circumstances they said yes we'll fit you in somewhere .When we arrive we was met by Kev and Sue and shown to a pitch, they couldn't do enough to help. My husband had to return to Suffolk for the day and I needed to get to the hospital - Sue was going into Boston so gave me a lift (I would say this is well beyond the service of running a campsite ) I cant praise them enough nothing was too much trouble.
Pitches are level .loos and showers spotless . A quiet peaceful site as mentioned the shop in reception sold basic provisions . There was a larger shop in the village which sold everything. You can also drive 3 miles up the road to the Spar. Can't comment on local pub as we didn't use it but the Mill Inn on the A52(near the hospital ) was excellent very nice meal and reasonably priced £30 for 4 meals with drinks.

May Bank holiday 2004 Lovely site. Wardens very friendly and facilities clean and functional - and this was on a bank holiday! Useful site as base for visiting the fens and Skegness. Only complaint would be the early morning and late night noise produced from fellow campers!!

August 2003 This was our first experience of camping, so we couldn't compare with other sites - but this site was wonderful. It was so clean and tidy, the showers were hot, and the toilet blocks were clean. The owners, Kevin & Sue, were to be seen out & about cleaning every day and were very friendly and helpful. There is a small shop on site with the basics, and a small childrens play area.
We thought it was lovely - very peaceful, clean and friendly. What more could we ask for?

August Bank Holiday '03 A small, but perfectly formed camping and caravan site!
Location is excellent (just off the A52 between Boston and Skgeness... far enough from the road as to be quiet tho) The site is SPOTLESSLY clean (the cleanest we have ever been on - and bear in mind it was bank holiday and full to capacity) - the usual things you really cant guarantee - clean loos, hot showers, decent washing up area - all 100% clean and working!
The owners are also very friendly and were busy all day making sure everything was ok for their guests. because of its size, it almost had a "guest house" feel about it, welcoming yet unobtrusive - perfect.
The mixture of caravans and tents worked well and created an atmosphere that was peaceful and not overcrowded. theres a childrens play area - at the back end of the site, we dont have kids but the ones around us all seemed happy and entertained.
My ONLY critiscm (and this is not the sites fault) is the local pub is not terribly welcoming. A bit souless and full of "Gary Lager's" - we had one drink and left.
I would advise booking - particularly at bank Hols etc. I wish the owners ongoing success with this site - it was a pleasure to stay there.
If marks out of ten are the order of the day we'll rate this 8.5!
