Beautiful caravan site set in beautiful surroundings, facilities extremely clean and very friendly staff. Definitely well worth a visit. There are lots of activities around about from walking, pony treking, 12 miles to the Loch Ness Monster Exhibition. The site has a good play park for the kids. TV reception is practically nil but they have a big communal tv room. Go prepared though midgey city!

Fantastic caravan park. Very friendly owners - makes a difference when a site is family ran and know what families want from a holiday!
Really relaxed park, bbq's dotted around the place, plenty electric points etc.
GORGEOUS setting, between trees, makes you feel like you are in a forest!
Kids play park is safe and well maintained. Showers etc are clean, large and warm all day (as well as having great pressure!)
Lovely restaurant and bar within 5-10 minutes walk, where children are welcome. Local shop is well stocked and has polite staff.
Free fishing is close by.the scenery is beautiful!
I can't actually think of a fault with this place! If you enjoy a quiet holiday, without too many people around, this is the place to go! SUPERB!

Went to this site as part of the UKCampsite.co.uk Members Meet. It is set in a lovely area of natural beauty, they are walks in the glens and along the river. It is a little remote (28 miles to Inverness) but very quiet and peaceful. The site owners are very helpful and approachable, the showers are warm all day and the other facilities are kept clean and serviceable. There is a shop / post office and pub / restaurant within a 5 min walk of the site. A childrens play area and tv room are also on site. The pitches are a mix of ehu and standard either under the shelter of the trees or in the open. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay with lots of natural beauty spots within a small area then this is for you. Would stay here again. Tom

This is the best site I have visited. Matthew, the owner, couldn't be more helpful and he provides an excellent site be it for a short break or a longer holiday. The site is well laid out with plenty of room for all kinds of units. There are excellent facilities. TV room, children's play area, bike hire, washroom for pots, washing machine, hairdryers, irons and ironing board. Hot showers included in the price. There is only a reasonable extra charge for the washing machine and bike hire. Everywhere is clean and well maintained. Matthew is on site all of the time to answer questions and to offer advice re: surrounding area. Only downside was no TV reception but providing you are on EHU, if you take a long aerial cable, there are TV aerial points on the ehu stands which enables you to pick up BBC1 and ITV. We didn't know this and the owner kindly loaned us one but it is best to take your own. There are plenty of beautiful walks by theriver, in the ancient wooded hills and to see the waterfalls. Fort Augusuts and Inverness are within easy travelling distance. I cannot fault this site and highly recommend it to all.

May 2005 Cannich is a beautiful area, not too far from Inverness but enough to be remote and have full access to at least 3 beautifull Glens: Cannich, Affric and Strathfarrar as well as walks around the surrounding area.
The site is among mature trees with a pitch for everything. Costs are for ppl and car. The wash facilities are in one block with washer & dryer, vending machine, sinks in one room a comfortable TV/lounge room , very handing if it rains. And of course free shower/wash rooms all of which are cleaned daily. Reception and payphone in front manned 8 till 11pm. The gates are locked and no noise after 9pm.
Cannich has a spar/post office and a bar/restaurant and gives easy acccess to many beauty spots in the area. Loads of bin/water points and BBQ's dotted around the site and not to forget the wee playpark for the kids.
The owner is very helpfull and made the stay welcoming and comfortable.
