Just back from our 1st camping trip as a family, we chose broad farm for it's pool but we weren't disappointed by anything on the site, the grounds were well kept & well laid out, the facilities were great for children & didn't cost us a fortune. The kids had a great time, I sent the oldest to the arcade with £1 & it kept him busy for an hour, the pool was great fun for all & the play park was a treat on the way back to the tent(a bribe to get them out of the pool really).
There were plenty of toilets & the showers never ran out of hot water, yes the toilet paper was crunchy but anyone with sense would take their own & the cold water tap outside the toilet block means you can clean your teeth with cold water if it's really that much of an issue. We only used the club once as the kids wore them selves out during the day but they charged average pub prices & only 40p for a game of pool.
I thought it quaint rather than dated, it's not 5* luxury, it's a family trailer park but for only £15 per night for a family of 5 you can't go far wrong. We loved broad farm & will certainly be going back .

i have just returned from a fantastic week at Broad Farm however the park is slightly dated. For the money its very cheap there is a large swimming pool, play area, bar, amusement arcade and cafe. The bar does not open till 7pm but the cafe is open from 9am till 7pm the food is lovely and very reasonable. They also do sunday roasts better than your mother would make. They serve the biggest and the best ice cream sundaes ever you will think your in Spain. I will return for sure

We had a FANTASTIC weekend here! The campsite is about 4 miles from Great Yarmouth, had BIG sized pitches but the shower and toilet facilities were VERY poor! There were cobwebs everywhere which really put me off with tangled flies and spiders everywhere! For anyone who hates spiders this is NOT the site for you! It was here where I saw the BIGGEST spider I had ever seen in the UK! It really put me off showers for a few days! Would definitely go again, but only when they refurbish the shower blocks!

We found this site in the Caravan and Camping club site book, our first impressions were good as it is a large site with play area and fun pool, however, we found that the toilet area was not that clean and the toilet paper left a little to be desired (brought back memories of first school - scratchy paper!), if you don't like spiders, you wont like this! But the showers were nice. The restaurant does not open till 7pm and if you have little children this may be too late, the menu was very basic with no deserts, it was also very dated and could do with some moderisation. The outside fun pool was good with warm water and a vigilant attendant - nice surprise! although we would most likely not go back again, we did find the staff to be very friendly. P.s. chemical toilet disposal requires gas mask and fly swat! nasty......

march 99 - oct 03 I have been to this wonderful site 4 years in a row and hoping for a 5th. This is a lovely quiet site, that is very friendly, great fun pool and play area for the kids, also amusements, shop and club house. The toilets and shower blocks are always clean with hot water. There are many places to go and visit locally, some you could even walk to. I would recomend a stay here to anyone.

26/07/03-02/08/03 I enjoyed my visit to broad Farm. There was so much to do,the gents toilet facilities were more than satisfactory.I stayed from 1 Saturday, untill the next Saturday.Justso Jamesthe children`s entertainer was very entertaining. The arcades had the excellent bowling, driving games, shooting games,2p machines that,if i had enough money,I could stay in there all day.The pool was just as good.Having a shower every night helped me to get used to the boilers working.I stayed in a tent.I visited the village experience. With my bike,I can ride around, exploring the campsites, finding my way around,it was a trific holiday.I hope to go there agian next year.

August 2003 Not a bad site but is in desperate need of modernisation, the club, shop and toilet and shower blocks are clean but very dated, the outdoor pool is ideal for the kids but can be too cold for toddlers.would'nt rush to go back.
