July 2004 Fantastic site for tents. Nice quiet spot surrounded by woods.
Great area for cyclists.
A proper campsite.

Twice in July 04 This is the nicest campiste I've been to! The owners are very friendly and always there to help. The shower block is so clean, the cleanest campsite facilities I've seen! It was so nice the first time we went again, really peaceful and quiet, and cheap! Highly recommended, will be back for a third visit!

May 2004 A wonderful site. Beverley and Kingsley are very friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. The facilities are excellent, and the site layout is perfect if you like peace and quiet and you value your privacy. We will definitely be returning, and will recommend this campsite to our friends.

May 2004 The campsite was great, very well run and set in a beautiful place. Both owners Beverly and Kingsley are very friendly and they try hard to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The campsite was busy but not crowded and we had a great time. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who is planning to go camping in Dorset & we will certainly be back!

August 2003 Warm and friendly welcome from genuinely helpful people. Pleasant quiet and spacious camp site. Facilities are very good, every thing so clean and fresh. Cannot wait to go back this year. Plenty to do nearby but do need transport though. All in all a top class site.

June2003 The friendliest welcome I have ever received at a campsite. Little shope selling the basics, freezer for ice packs (free), the cleanest nicest toilet block ever encountered on a campsite, and possibly the cheapest site in the area too. Who could ask for more? The only obvious disadvantage is that there are no amenities within walking distance, meaning that a car is essential.

May 2003 Just returned from a superb week in sunny Dorset staying at Woodlands.
Great place to stay if you're looking for a small tents only campsite which is quiet and not packed full of campers!
Very well organised and the owners are dedicated to making sure everyone gets a good pitch and enjoys their break. Facilities kept very clean and you'll always get a warm shower in exchange for a few 20 pence pieces!
Reception sells BBQ coals, candles, ice creams and has a freezer available free of charge for ice packs. There's an excellent farm shop just up the road where you can get everything you need. Farm shop also visits every morning with fresh bread, milk etc.
All in all a great campsite which I would recommend very highly.
