What a lovely campsite.
So well laid out with tall grasses, shrubs and trees all around, you hardly know there are other campers there. Huge amount of space on every pitch. Helpful wardens.
Useful little shop with ice cream, bbq meat, etc.
Facilities kept clean and tidy. Good recycling area.
Lovely walk across fields into Bourton on the Water.
Will definitely return.

This is a lovely site with spacious pitches and plenty of seclusion with hedges and the like. We were pleased that the site managed to open its toilets, showers and washing up facilities, given the Covid-19 crisis.
We have recently returned to camping, having been in a caravan for many years. Consequently, we notice noise rather more and were dismayed at the amount of road noise coming from the A429 which runs nearer to rear of the site than might at first be supposed. There was constant traffic during the day and still a fair bit at night which was a shame as it spoilt our enjoyment.
The surrounding area is lovely, with pretty villages, some good walking and wildlife and the wardens were as helpful as they could be, and very understanding, but, unfortunately, we did not find the site peaceful enough to want to return.

Beautiful campsite, pitches are biggest I’ve pitched on! Very clean, staff are friendly and very well look after. Would def return and recommend!
Is very dog friendly and about 1.4 miles into town which is also very dog friendly!
Lovely campsite!

It was great but spoiled by very noisy people in next pitch. We were 45 and the two mature women on 46 seemed to have no regard for others.
Apart from that and the road noise from the adjacent a road this is a fabulous well run site.

Love this place.
So quiet and tranquil. Wild life all around you. The Park layout is v spacious and everyone has hedges on three sides.
There’s a small local produce shop on site, have too try the burgers and steaks.
Friendly arrival and the wardens have lots of local knowledge if needed.
Others have commented on the track leading to the Park, just slow down and it’s fine !
Only downside - should have stayed longer 😀
Will defo be back next year

This is a very pleasant rural site. Facilities are acceptable, if a bit of a trek from some pitches. Pitches are huge, though many slope more than somewhat.
The wardens are helpful. It ia possible to walk into Bourton, though the climb back up the hill is taxing.
The big bugbear, as has been mentioned, is the access down a very uneven drive.
Although it has been patched the '15mph' signs are entirely superfluous as you'd be mad to try going any faster and 5mph is more likely to be your target speed when towing.

Hi there, just spent 3 glorious days at Field Barn, and what a superb site! It is so unusual to find somewhere that has placed the camping experience at the heart of the site lay-out,
The site uses elephant grass to screen between pitches, and lays a large part of the site over to "wild" feature planting areas, which attracts a good deal of wildlife.
The overall atmosphere is one of tranquillity and calm. Just sit and listen to the voles rustling through the elephant grass, with a glass of white wine; Blissful.
All this, topped of with helpful, friendly wardens and clean, well appointed facilities; showers, loos, recycle point, utility room, free wifi, water points everywhere and a food store with honesty box.
The "over 30s" rule may seem discriminatory, but as a teacher, on holiday.

This is our 3rd visit to this site and we love it. The pitches are large and separated from each other by bushes and trees, lots of wildlife around. The wardens are friendly and very helpful.
The toilet and shower block is clean. You can buy fresh local farm meats if you want a barbecue. It's approximately one mile from beautiful Bourton on the Water.
Wifi could be improved and the track down to the site seems worse than last year bit bumpy.
Will definitely be back.
