Lovely friendly well kept little campsite. We were lucky to have a spot under a tree next to a picnic bench.
Donna was friendly and helpful, her young son was very sociable and loves dogs. His Nana was also very helpful telling us about the local area (red squirrels in nearby woods, nearby lighthouse, sandy bay across the road )
Also there are pubs and a retail centre within 5 minutes walk, but the campsite feels like it's in the countryside.
Amenities were well kept and clean. There is a couple of plug sockets to charge mobiles (or to use a hairdryer as I did)

Fantastic site with good access to local beach, walks and food shops.
Clean and friendly site however the only thing which could let them down is the toilet facilities which are very very limited.
Two toilets and one showering is not enough. However it does look like they’re trying to address this and quickly in building new ones.
Fantastic location for paddlers as its down the road from local suppliers and easy access to Sea kayaking spots.

Lovely setting, country feel pitch but right on the sea front.
Stones throw from the beach and a retail park nearby.
Lots of local walks and nature park nearby
Toilet block a bit small but believe it’s work pending,
Owner very approachable and altogether a nice relaxing visit with our mad dog.

What a great site this is located right next to the beach just lovely waking up and going for a stroll along it,
The owner Donna is so helpful and nothing is too much trouble
You can see the hard work ongoing to improve this site
Every facility is provided, toilets shower, etc very clean
We are due to return next month.

The campsite was easy to find and set in an idyllic location.
Less than a minute to the beach and from our pitch (EHU 1) you have a sea view.
A five minute walk from the shops (aldi, Tesco ect)
This campsite has it all. Lovely clean facilities - toilet and shower - for the price of £20 a night, what more could you want.

This is our 8th visit this year, This is a lovely family friendly site very close to the beach and shops even a pub lol.
Donna the owner works tirelessly to get this site upto scratch considering what is was like when she took over last year? But she always has time to say hello and check on everyone daily,
But shock and horror there's no hot water in the gents lol, yes only 1 Male and female toilet at the moment but on each occasion we have been the shower was spotless.
Lots of people keep coming back to this lovely site which tells you a lot. See you next time Donna.

We booked for the location! That’s where the good ends unfortunately.
No hot water water to wash pots
No hot water in gents
Only two toilets 1male, 1female
One shower, good hot water, very small and full of mosquitoes.
Never smelt any cleaning products, the tiles are dirty too in the shower. Impossible to get dried as it’s too small and you end up with wet trousers.
The kettle blew the electrics every time (we gave up eventually) everyone said the same about the kettle.
The site needs a lot of work and you get very little for £20 a night, bad value for money

Stayed here before through the camping and caravanning club, this time though unfortunately I was in for a shock.
The advertised price is £8-£12 per unit per night through the Camping and Caravaning club, we were charged £18 pupn
The grass was unkept, the toilet blocks had more cobwebs and dust than any other site I had been in, the sinks were almost overflowing with leaves, faded signs, empty information kiosks.
Sad, just neglected and expensive compared to the advertised price.
Have just seen that it no longer appears on the Camping and Caravaning club site.

Second time away in new motorhome, the site was substandard, grass not cut and bins full, told to put dogs on a lead but many without. Seems one rule for one and another for others. Toilets not very clean. Wont be returning. Not sure who the younger lady was but seems to have an attitude problem.
