What a fantastic campsite, small but perfectly formed. The owners gave a policy of only having limited, generous pitches around the field which ensures privacy and quiet.

Well sheltered with fantastic views. The sunset over the estuary was absolutely stunning. We loved using our fire pit and waking up after a fantastic nights sleep. I was personally revisiting the Porthmadog area I went to as a child and can’t imagine a better place to make new memories.

There is only 1 toilet and 1 shower but the small numbers meant this wasn’t a problem. My son and I are going to recommend this little gem to all our friends and definitely plan to return.

Short drive to lots of shops and camping supplies in Porthmadog. There is a camping shop at the garage beyond Millets which is great! We enjoyed the Welsh Highland Railway but book in advance. Also the beaches along from Borth-y-Gest are gorgeous with views back over the estuary of the campsite. Try climbing Mol-y-Gest for spectacular views.

Thank you!

Brilliant Site, Beautiful place, the views are amazing, EHU's,

Facilities are clean, the owners Heidi and Dave are lovely and very helpful, very peaceful,

Good for walking, we walked across the Estuary to the island where there is an old house which was once inhabited, great for waterboarding when the tides in too and If I were the owners I would look into renting out boards and even Kanoes.

If you want a nice quiet place with great views either with your family, alone, with your dog/s or Partner I would recommend this place.

We will be back again. 5*

 Just the job for us!

Very quiet and peaceful, lots of space, nice setting, nature and water, nice walks, flat grassy pitch, felt really comfortable there and a good welcome and a spotless toilet - who could ask for more?

A great place to relax.

We’ll be back!

The site is quite a good size field where children can run around and play the eastuary is nearby and over looks port meirion

It’s a clean friendly site and the owners live in the farmhouse. we got lost and Heidi came and met us

Black rock sands is a short drive away. Barmouth is a twenty minute drive and Harlech and cricith castles are nearby

But the tranquility of the site is the best part

Great site in a beautiful spot. The site is well organised, clean and welcoming. Had a lovely time there and couldn’t fault it!

It is in a great location with lots of places to visit.

The COVID-19 precautions were very thorough but unobtrusive.

This campsite is absolutely out of this world! A perfect retreat to get away from it all, fantastic location, with the most spectacular views. We stayed for half of the school holidays, our two girls aged 6 and 9 made memories we will treasure for ever.

The owners Heidi and Dave are welcoming, helpful and make you feel at home.

Thank you for making our holiday a special one we will never forget.

Looking forward to returning soon.

Quite the most beautiful area for a site, peaceful, no traffic noise pitch black at night bliss! we never tired over looking over the estuary watching the ebb and flow of the tides.

The entrance road to the site almost caught us out, when you have a unit that totals over 12 mtrs you need to be sure of turning off into the correct side road. The turn has 2 dead end signs which confuses you, but future visitors now know that this is the correct turn! Did feel as sign on the main road would help and did mention this to the owners, apparently with rules and regs there it is not easy.

That said, we loved the site, felt like a lochside site without the midges.

Yes the shower room really does need sprucing up and it is planned, loo fine, clean no probs there. Nice chatty owners who (hurrah) only insist on leads for your dog if its naughty, wish more did that !

Owners kindly provided EHU (extra charge) as we have not gone off grid before.

Will definitely return here, stunning countryside all around. Can recommend Coed-y-Brenin Forest park for walks, beautiful waterfalls.
