Our first vist to the campsite was 5 years ago. We found the campsite by accident what a pleasant accident that was. We have been visiting every weekend since, also have taken our annual holidays there too. Our grand children have visited regular and stayed with us often. We have always found the lady in charge Lorraine very helpful and always pleasant the site is always very clean and tidy.
Roll on next year!.

Hi and just to say that ever since I went to Painters Farm I have enjoyed it so much, because of Lorraine (the head of the camp site)
You always see her with the biggest grin I have ever seen!. There is plenty of things to do, can't wait to get back there!.

My wife and I stayed at Painter's Farm this last weekend. What a lovely spot! We immediately fell in love with the charm of this little orchard site. Facilities are fine but the showers were not too warm and yes, you need plenty of 20p pieces! We did not visit The Alma, the local pub, but the friends that we camped with who have stayed here numerous times told us that it was wonderful. We will certainly pop in there next time we camp here. I agree that this is not a good site for children; more suitable for quiet adult groups. I would not recommend this site for a large noisy group. This site is a haven for those who like a peaceful idyllic weekend. Highly recommended.

Great Site. Very friendly owners, good clean facilities, but the showers needed plenty of 20p pieces, I would have preferred them to charge me an extra pound or so a night and have free showers. For people considering using public transport like myself the local buses where very few and far between and none on a Sunday. Although when they did run they went all the way to Whitstable which was a nice trip out. The owners of the site were very friendly and always there to help, Would stay there again. Hope this helps

Small, clean and friendly site. Conveniently close to M2 which also means some traffic noise. No ball games allowed on site, presumably as space limited and cherry tress around. However, lovely pub just a few minutes walk away with children's playground opposite. Site recommended.

Lovely small quiet picturesque site. Great for weekend away. Showers were a bit 'nippy', and require 20p's, as does hot water at dishwashing sinks (this is always a gripe of mine, make them free and charge me an extra pound a night on my fees!). The local pub is 2 minutes walk away and does the most fantastic food, which really made the weekend for us.

Aug 2003 A lovely, quiet site. Not really suitable for active kiddies, but very friendly, extremely helpful site owner. A very peaceful setting, but very handy for great local pub - good meals available.
Handy for motorway (M2 junction 6) and gorgeous Kent town of Faversham. Leeds Castle only 20 mins away. EXCELLENT VALUE SITE. Good, clean facilities. Owner takes great pride in personal attention. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Peter & Joyce Ballantyne.

June 2003 An excellent site full of "Kentish Charm" straight out of "The Darling Buds of May"; set in a Cherry orchard. Mainly level, grassy site with ample hookups and a small on site shop for basic provisions. Toilets, showers and the dishwashing area all spotless. Wardens are extremely friendly and helpful. Good pub with excellent food most nights newarby (2 mins walk). Close but far enough away from Faversham town and M2 motorway - Canterbury, Medway and the cross channel ports within easy reach.
A must visit site that you will return to again and again.
