Lovely nice small basic site - tent field really small but nice and sheltered. Loos are portacabins with 2 sinks and 2 loos in the ladies - 1 pot washing sink outside under cover (really hot water which is great) Main loos are in the touring bit next door - very clean and showers are a proper room not just a cupboard with a shower curtain! Beautifully kept grass - whole site has a lovely feel. No swings or anything for kids though. Traffic background noise all the time though as the A7 runs right next to it and is very busy. There is an hourly bus service to Carlisle or Gretna (and Dumfries) just down the road which is ideal if like us you have driven quite a way and want a rest (Carlisle is only 3 miles away) Bargain at £8 per night for our 3 man tent

Excellent site, with spotlessly clean facilities. Showers excellent. Very friendly atmosphere and made to feel welcome on arrival, which makes all the difference after a long journey. We stayed here for one night only, in order to attend a wedding in Carlisle. We got the bus into the city, which was also a great service - only 25 minutes and at a reasonable cost.

Stayed only one night on this lovely little caravan / camping park. Very nicely laid out pitches around the outside of an immaculately kept centre lawn. Toilets very clean and tidy, well looked after, although puzzled somewhat by chemical disposal point actually inside launderette! Made very welcome by owners who helped us pitch up.made sure we were perfectly parked on the pitch. Enjoyable stay and very handy for the motorway 2 miles.

Stayed here for one night on our way in to Scotland. Not a lot here just a field and toilets/ showers. Owner very nice but van was placed looking in the window of a Mobile home not a very good view. OK for one night but not for a long stay. Also not very dog friendly no were to walk the dog had to walk away from the site on to the road.

We stopped here for one night on our way to Scotland. The owner was very helpful, told us were the best place to go to watch the England footie match!
The facilities were spotlessly clean and tidy. Perfect! Will defiantly make use of this park again.

July 2005 The site was well placed for the lakes and other attractions. Very friendly and helpful owners who kept the whole site, including toilets & showers, immaculate. Plenty of space to pitch up, no overcrowding at all. Static owners were also very friendly, which is not always the case.

July 2004 This is an excellent site in an ideal location for touring. It is a small site in a very peaceful location. It is handy for visiting the lakes, Scotland and hadrian's wall. The toilets and showers and other facilities were spotless and the owners were extremely helpful. We will certainly go back.

July 2004 My girlfriend and I pitched the tent for one night on a trip to a motor show. We must say as our first camping night as a couple we were very pleased with this site. It is easily found and close to the motorway (3 miles), the owners were very helpfull and pleasent keeping a clean site. Very peacefull with very clean toilets and showers. I will almost definately use this site again and pass on a high recomendation to others.

August 2002 A neat, well maintained site. The toilet blocks were clean. The owner was friendly and extremely helpful. If you're looking for a site for a quiet break then this is probably the one for you.
