Lovely quite relaxing campsite, & just a 10 minute walk into the village, three nice pubs & lovely walks.
Perfect site to get away from it all,
We will definitely be back.

Beautiful rural setting, lovely village and local shops.
Very peaceful site, friendly accommodating owners, highly recommended.
Your own sanitation and shower essential as there’s only a loo and chemical disposal point.

This is a gem of a site, located in a large field behind the owners’ house. Kelly and Adam are really friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome.
The pitches at the top, bottom and most of each side are very level, with a couple on the sides sloping from left to right. There are electric hookups and a single toilet, so you need your own facilities, a fact made clear when booking.
The field is surrounded by mature trees and there are views into the valley. The grass is cut regularly, so is never a problem. The water ad grey waste are in the corner of the field as you enter, and the toilet waste is on the RHS of the drive as you enter. There is no drive-over waste so if you have a Motor home you will need to use external tanks.
It is a pleasant 10 minute stroll into Steyning where there are lots of pubs, restaurants, tea shops, a fish and chip shop (very good) and a good sized Coop store.
Probably the best site of its type we have stayed on.

Great site, quiet, spacious pitches, beautifully kept grass site.
Views of South Downs and good walking on doorstep. Picturesque toilet, still awaiting showers. Great for self contained Motorhomes.
Second stay, will return.

Having arrived at sunset, unexpectedly and unannounced, I was made to feel very welcome by the hosts, who could not have been more helpful.
This is a lovely campsite with beautiful views of the South Downs.
Easy to give this an overall 10 out 10. Great value for money.
Showers due to be added soon.
Many thanks.

Lovely site up lane, views over arun valley. Fabuluous privy, (just the one) and no showers but swimming pool not far away if you need it. Close to A27 by car but about 10 mins walk to nearest brighton bound bus
Pitches around edge of an immaculate field (snooker table flat and short grass). Nice owner.
Entrance can be missed. Through housing, left fork then Turn immediate left at the white house!
The only disturbances were the sound of munching by the shire horse and the pheasants.
Marked 9/10 for the one privy despite the uniqueness of it

A beautiful little site situated on the downs with lovely views across Steyning and the south downs. Very well kept grassy areas, some with electric hookup, no showers, but one clean toilet which I never had to wait to use.
Just up the road, is an entrance to the woods, with walks on the upper and lower horseshoe, the latter leading into Steyning High Street after about 2 miles. If you wish to reach the High Street quicker, its just down the road about 10 mins walk.
All the shops, pubs and restaurants you need on the high street, including a co-op, newsagents, butcher and 3 pubs, Whites, the Chequers and the Star, we visited the Chequers with our Jack Russell who was welcome inside and out.
A very relaxing, quiet site with friendly campers and wardens, large pitches and plenty of fresh water as well as a Chemical Disposal Point which was a bonus on such a small site.
Would definitely recommend for dog walkers, ramblers and will be returning again soon.
Very easy to reach down the A24 and then through Steyning. One thing to note when approaching for the first time, there is not a big sign outside so once you have passed all the houses, there's just a small gap and then there is a white house on the left. If you end up at the top of the hill you've passed it.

Really great site, but best to have your own facilities on board, as just the 1 toilet!
Grass is kept really neat (immaculate)
There are lovely walks nearby, a cricket field on the way to the village which is just a short 10 minute walk away, good pubs and charity shops.
Great views over the downs and whilst we were here we saw deer in the field where a shire horse spends the night, right next to the camping field, also was a very friendly site,
The local area is also full of lovely pubs just a short drive away.
Totally recommend.

Lovely campsite with loads of room between sites. Very peaceful with only a few other visitors. A few animals for company, including some rabbits and a shire horse (all in the next field).
No shower which might put off some people. Toilet light timer could do with some fixing because it lasts about 3 seconds but all in all a great campsite. Highly recommended.

We stayed in a Tent on this beautiful campsite during our cycling holiday, it is set in a stunning location, alongside a stable, the price is fantastic. Nearby Steyning has a few lovely restaurants, and a great bakery for breakfast.
The host was welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately an inconsiderate guest was playing loud music in their caravan throughout the night of our stay, obviously not the fault of the campsite however they could have asked the caravan to turn it off.
The toilet was lovely, and the entrance was stunning, however it has a 10 second light timer which you have to press and can not be accessed while using the loo, which was frustrating if you are doing anything other than washing your hands, especially in the dark.
I feel the site would benefit greatly if they provided a warm shower, more than one toilet and replacing the timer, no loud music policy, and of course if they provided breakfast as an optional extra we would have taken them up on the offer.
But in all it was a beautiful campsite, and provided the basics of what we needed, just somewhere to put up our tent for 1 night and the cost was brilliant.
