We stayed at the site for 8 nights, driving up from South Wales. When driving to the site a direction sign has been removed / knocked over.
Arrival/departures is via a single track lane with passing places.
Our first impressions of the site was that we had stumbled upon some sort of commune. Unfortunately when we arrived it had been raining heavily which meant that the grass and hard standing pitches were waterlogged. This was also made worse by the amount of chicken droppings (free range)on the pitches & the site in general. We appreciate that this is a working farm but did not expect to be tiptoeing around chicken droppings on our holiday.
We felt the site was very over crowded for the amount of caravans (5 cl caravans, 3 commercial & one other). We knew before we arrived about the commercial caravans, but did not realise that we would be in such a small area.
We were very surprised by the location of the site as it was situated right in front of the farm house & the main thoroughfare of the farm which meant a lot of coming and goings eg farm workers, other transportation and any visitors. This detracted away from the sites tranquillity.
The shower and toilet facilities are clean and tidy but you need a 50p for the meter.
If the above points were addressed we would not hesitate to return in the future for the views towards Bamburgh castle and it's locality to the sandy beaches.
It was a great spot to stay to explore this stunning area. Lindisfarne is close by as is the pretty villages of Bamburgh, Seahouses and Beadnell.

Just spent 3 nights here and it was a lovely site. Our arrival took us through the beautiful village of Bamburgh, which really is stunning. When we got to the site, the view back to Bamburgh and it's castle is amazing.
The site is plain and simple, which is great.
There are water and waste points, a toilet and shower. ( could maybe do with heating in the shower though, my wife was a bit chilly ).
Lovely peaceful location. Close to brilliant quiet beaches, nice villages and towns and loads of local places to visit.
We would definitely recommend this site and are looking forward to going again ourselves.

As other reviewers confirm, this is a wonderful rural site with fabulous views and lots of places of interest within easy reach and beaches to die for.
But what they don't tell you about is one of the best features of all.
There is no light pollution here, so on a crow black clear night the view of the cosmos is simply amazing.
If you live in a town or city, you will probably have never witnessed a sight like this - a star filled night sky with zillions of brilliantly glittering stars and a milky way reaching across the horizons.
The site is a Caravan Club CL with five club pitches, and three or four commercial pitches adjacent. As club members we paid £14 a night - two adults, a dog, with hardstanding and hookup.
Those staying on the commercial pitches may pay more.
Pitches are level enough and, if you face the right way, have superb views of Bamburgh Castle which is well worth a visit (£8 entry).
The bijou seaside holiday town of Seahouses is just a couple of miles away - an easy walk - as is Bamburgh with its plethora of eating and drinking places.
There is a toilet and separate shower stall in the large porch area of the farm entrance.
Both are clean and tidy but could do with a bit of updating.
The fresh water supply is just outside the farm gate and it looks lke the area could get quite muddy in wet weather. But what do you expect? It is a farm after all. Maybe a bit of hardcore would help.
Reviewers stress, with good reason, the importance of not arriving before the suggested time of 2pm. (And leaving well before then!).
Do not be tempted to challenge fate!

A lovely site, in a fabulous location with beautiful views of the castle. Easy 20 min walk to the most beautiful beach, 40 min walk to either Seahouses or Bamburgh.
The site could do with a bit of money spending on it - toilet and shower could do with an overhaul - no knob to adjust temperature on shower etc and overall a bit dated and tired.
Drinking water is outside farm gates and not signposted and some pitches are a bit untidy. Free wifi was a pleasant bonus though and owners were friendly enough.
Approach up single track road seems to take forever with the caravan attached, but in reality it's not too bad - just adhere to the arrival times, as I wouldn't like to meet a caravan coming the other way as one of you would have a long reverse. £16 per night for caravan, two people, a dog, awning and electricity.
Nothing for children to entertain themselves with so would recommend most suited to adults. Overall a nice site, could just do with a tidy/update.

Small site in front of the farmhouse of a working farm, but there was little noise and it certainly didn't detract from the peaceful location.
Unfortunately we went at a time of year when a lot of businesses and attractions were closed. This didn't hamper our enjoyment of the area, but it is worth noting that a lot of things are closed until April.
The walk to the beach over the fields was easy and the beach was fabulous. We took the dog out onto the beach everyday and he loved it more than we did. He came back so tired that he spent the rest of the day sleeping, which is a big bonus when you have a large dog in a small caravan.Lol.
We tried the Victoria pub in Bamburgh and the food was as you would expect for a pub. Good sized portions of reasonable food. We went to a curry house called the Curry Leaf in Seahouses. This has recently come under new management and we had a good take away from there. We would recommend it. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we wish them luck for their first summer season.

What a little gem!
Fantastic views of Bamburgh Castle and the surrounding countryside. Working farm but wasn't busy enough to disturb the peace and tranquillity.
Excellent facilities for a CL site, one shower with plenty of hot water at any time (cost 50p but for 10 mins), and a separate toilet, both very clean and more than adequate. Fairly level site with electric hook up and some hard standings (may need a levelling block on a couple of pitches but nothing more than that).
Great walks from the site through open countryside, well signed and an easy terrain to Bamburgh and also Seahouses. Free wifi facility and free range eggs available.
Friendly and accommodating owners.
Only negative I can say is that the road on the site and around the entrance to the farm was very wet and very muddy, but considering the time of year, weather conditions and the fact it is a working farm this is to be expected.
Excellent dog friendly pub in Bamburgh, The Victoria Hotel. Large pub with log fire. Also serves food but we didn't try the food. Also a dog friendly pub in Seahouses serving food also, think it was called The Castle Hotel or something like that!
Will certainly be returning but would probably have to book early as even in November there were plenty of visitors coming and going.

Stayed here at the weekend. Great views of castle. Only £10 a night with electric.
Some pitches hard standing. Toilet and shower in porch of farm house. Fresh water pipe. Clean, and well maintained. Short walk to a fantastic beach, and lovely couple of pubs in Bamburgh. Really good t.V reception.
Site is in front of the farm house. Most pitches have view of castle.
Coastal walk way passes by site
Great that it is open all year, as we like to get away most weekends, but not a lot of places open at this time of year.
This is a working farm with cattle, sheep etc.
Will be back

AS other comment, the site is a one and a half mile walk through fields to Bamburgh and about two mile from Seahouses.
Beautiful views of the castle from the majority of pitches. Well worth a few nights to milk the wonderful area. Holy Island 15 miles, Berwick 20 miles.
The site is in the countryside and the road leading up to it is a farm track, although the owners do insist that you are not able to arrive until after 2 pm, please adhere to this or you may have to reverse your unit for up to one mile -- be warned.

This is a Caravan Club CL site which I thought were limited to 5 caravans but there were 9 when we were there. The site is quite hard to get to via narrow country lanes and over potholes but totally worth it! It's a bargain a £10 per night. The farmer keeps part of his home open which has a clean toilet and shower room in it for use by the campers.
We had a good large area to set up in overlooking the barn, but the other pitches had a lovely view of Bamborough Castle. You can walk through a couple of fields, through some stables and down a lane to one of the most perfect beaches you will ever go to! With beautiful rippled sands, fantastic rock pools and looking out towards the lighthouse. Wonderful!
Will definitely go back to this site.
