Found this little gem by mistake as we were booked into another campsite just up the road to this one, unfortunately with all the heavy rain their entrance was just too muddy to be able to get in. So this is how we found “Brick Walls Barn” with good access even with the downpour that was drenching us when we arrived.
It states that the facilities are hook up and Elson point only, which is all we needed anyway, so that was the first box ticked. Not only dog friendly but also dog secure with good perimeter fencing, second box ticked. Friendly owners with a good knowledge of the local area including places to visit and good venues to eat or drink in.
They told us the site had only been open a few months but while new to this game they were keen to do anything they could to make our stay a pleasant one, all boxes ticked! As the other reviewer reported we to were given free freshly laid eggs from the owners chickens to cook for our breakfast which was a really nice touch.
Whilst the site has great views it doesn’t have many local amenities but it is fantastic to use as a base to visit the Three Counties Show Ground in Malvern, the Malvern Hills, Worcester and other delightful little surrounding towns including the picturesque Upton upon Severn.
In closing a lucky find for us that we certainly will be using again and recommending to our fellow campers.

Having visited Hanley Castle on a previous occasion we have always been keen to return. This is a fairly new site and I cannot fault it. It states that there are no facilities other than hook up/Elson point, is dog friendly and a 5 van site all of which suited our needs.
On arrival I called Leslie, the owner, and she said we could have the choice of 3 spots on site and as we were with friends it was good that we were able to pitch side by side.
The ground was very level and very well maintained, the grounds were enclosed so we were satisfied knowing our dogs were safe. On our first morning we were greeted with complimentary eggs which was a lovely touch.
As the site was new Leslie was happy to listen to any suggestions for improvement although we struggled to find anything negative to comment on! We would definitely look to staying on this site again, the views were incredible and only a short drive to the Malverns and surrounding towns.
A perfect base to discover the area. I shall recommend this site to other caravan owners.
