August 2005 Great site, very flat, and staff most obliging. Could not fault the toilets and showers, 20p for about 5 mins, and plenty of room for pitching the tent. Bit of a dodgy walk to the nearest pub, especially if you have kids, only a path in certain places. The site is safe for all, except for silly drivers who seem to think they can race across the field because they are pitched on the far side. My only bad comment: We arrived mid-afternoon on Monday, and the bins nearest to the toilet block were full, and overflowing all round the bottom of them. It took until Wednesday for them to be emptied, by this time there was a large pile on the floor. This was a definite down side, but I must admit, it was the only one.

August 2005 Our first camping trip saw us trying Diamond Farm in Brean near to weston. We found it an excellent site, clean toilets and shower block. The site size means that wherever you are located you shouldn't have to walk for more than 2 or 3 minutes to get to the toilet/shower block. There is a well stocked shop on site that is also the cafe. Their breakfasts are excellent, slightly disorganised when we went, but definetely worth the wait. There isn't a clubhouse or bar on site but the nearest pub is only a 10 - 15 minute walk away (well maybe 20 minutes on the way back!) Also the tent stayed up despite the wind so a great weekend all round. We will be going back!

July 2005 Had 2 weeks, lovely site, friendly and great for the kids. Clean toilets and showers, level and well kept field. The only two things that i could find fault with was the lack of wahing machines and tumble dryers, one of each on a site this size was deffinatly not enough. 2nd was the hours of the shop 8/8.30 am and closed most days at 5pm, after a day out this was a problem, when you need basics and the kids want sweets!!
The good thing was an ice cream van visiting the site about 8.30/9.00pm every evening well for a £1.00 an ice cream cone would have fed two easily, made me feel quite ill, but the kids loved it !!!!! On the whole a great time thanks Barry and Co.

August 2005 Even though it was a wet weekend in the first instance, it was still a great weekend. The staff were friendly and even put on a wild west show, beer tent and small sales tent. The camp is very child and pet friendly. It is a large site, with modest facilities, value for money and we met many people who use this site regularly. The shop on site carries only food, no batteries, cigs or booze and no club; however people seem to make more of an effort to be friendly rather than just sitting in their own little groups as often happens in clubs. A site well worth the visit, ideal for weekends. It was our first weekend away with our puppy, staff and visitors alike made us very welcome.

August 2005 Stayed here over a seven nights. The touring field (behind the loo block) was huge and had lots of space. The pitches were around the edge and in the middle of the field and there was plenty of space in the middle for kids to play ball games and fly kites without disturbing anyone. The toilets were clean and tidy and light. The showers are 20p for 5 mins but last longer. Only downside is that some of the showers could get very hot (watch out for the kids). Ice pack service is free (But you can donate to charity via collection boxes in shop).
The shop is not well stocked so you will have to go off site to shop. You can get a cooked breakfast in shop come cafeteria and sunny sit out side in the sun shine. Long walk to beach but once there it's worth it. Very nice clean beach. Not much for teenagers to do on site but plenty in breen I.E amusments,Tenpin bowling etc and of course dont forget breen leisure park! we will be visiting again with friends and family.

June 2005 We stayed at this campsite for one night so we didn't get to use all the facilities like the shop or cafe. We phoned about 2 hours before going and were easily fitted in in the camping field behind the toilet blocks, to include electric hook up. The camping field was great with plenty of space for the kids to play in the centre of the field. The toilet and shower block was very clean, with plenty of loos etc. The management are very relaxed about departure times saying that you can leave when you are ready! We would definetly go back again!

June 2005 Stayed here over a weekend. The touring field (behind the loo block) was huge and had lots of space but limited EHU. The pitches were around the edge of the field and there was plenty of space in the middle for kids to play ball games and fly kites without disturbing anyone. The toilets were spotless and light. The showers should be 20p for 5 mins but I didnt put any money in had free showers all weekend. Only downside is that the showers could get very hot (watch out for the kids) and sprayed outwards getting everything soaked - best way to deal with this is put all your stuff into a big carrier bag.
Compared to alot of the other sites in Brean this one is quite a walk from the beach but at £8.50 a night for a family its good value. The real bonus for weekend campers is that the site is really laid back about what time you decamp so no rushing off camp on Sunday morning. The play area was good for younger children mine 6 and 4 played happily. Didnt use the onsite shop so cant comment on it. Did notice a bus stop right outside the campsite gates but not sure how regular the buses are.
Good value clean site, if you like Brean its worth a stay. Brean has a lovely sandy beach with some dunes, lots of family pubs, a pontins and a leisure beach(fun fair). We preferred Weston Super Mare, as it seemed to offer alot more to do especially if the weather is not so good. Brean seems to be the Car Boot Capital of the South West - there were lots both days!!

May 2005 Really nice site. First time there and would recomend to anyone. Showers/toilets were VERY clean and the staff were helpful in every way. We didn't even have to be off the site by a certain time. Although they dont have a club on site there is plenty of entertainment in Brean especialy Dickies family room with a entertainer Mr Mayhem. Very funny man and kept the kids going all night long. Would certainly visit Diamond Farm again.

July 2004 Stayed here in early July 2004. Our late Friday night arrival was no problem and we were told to pitch up and pay next morning. Nice level site, with plenty of room. Toilet block was very clean, and showers cost 20p for approx. 7 mins but the showers do spray out horizontally and will soak all your belongings in the changing area if you are not vigilant. Installing shower curtains in each cubicle would stop this happening.
Nice indoor wash-up area with plenty of sinks and hot water.
Very good cafe on site next to reception, which is very reasonably priced.
The site is a short walk from the front at Brean, which affords a quieter stay than some of the sites nearer the beach.
Excellent value for money (£6 per night for basic pitch, no hook-up.) Would definitely stay here again.

May 2004 Stayed here over the weekend, cheapest we could find in Brean near(ish) the sea and with electric. Nice flat site down a lane so very quiet and hardly any traffic. Is at the far end of Brean just before The Beachcomber pub which do lovely carvery meals. Is split into 2 for statics and tourers, tents and motorhomes. Also lots of seasonal tourers there. River runs alongside with free river fishing. Childrens play area and lots of room to kick a ball. Shower block clean and warm, showers 20p for about 5 mins. My shower sprayed horizontally and wet my dry clothes so I wasn't very happy but maybe I picked a dud cubicle. We paid £13 for 2 nights with hookup, awning and pup tent. Didn't book, they said just turn up. Also didn't throw us off early on Sunday "Go home when you're ready" which turned out to be 3.30pm. Definately will come back.
