Living in Bham it was an ideal place to escape to, only 40 minutes down the road but felt like a world away. Pitches were of a good size and site loveley and flat and clean. Only bad point was the button on the showers, once pressed lasted 2 seconds.!
Apart from that we will use the site at every oppertunity and we are booked in for their bonfire night party. Would recommend the site to anyone, its quiet off season and lots of room for the kids to play - alos lots of conkers to collect. Met loads of nice people, we met more people in 2 days on our caravan than in 6 months of camping!

October 2004 I went to this site nearly 10 times last year. Living in the West Midlands means that it's location is perfect for the "oh look the weathers going to be good tomorrow - lets go away". having said that the site itself is great. There's the bar, restaurant, decent sized swimming pool, plenty of open space, good toilet block - and several good pubs within walking distance. It is next to the Cotswold Domestic Fowl Trust so some of the plots get woken up early with the cockerels - but then that is part of the country. I love it so much that I've just taken up a seasonal pitch there as a base instead of using storage. There's plenty of space for the kids to play and the design of the site means that cars tend to drive quite slowly around - making it safer for the kids. Enjoy

August 2004 A lovely campsite. Clean and tidy with a lovely swimming pool and very clean showers and toilets. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pitches were very flat and the children had plenty of room to play without annoying other campers.

September 2003 The Ranch is a lovely family caravan site, it doesn't accept normal tents but trailer tents are allowed.
The swimming pool was closed which was a little disappointing as it was so hot all weekend. The site is very clean and very well looked after, the food is average but nice, the club prices are a little expensive, costing nearly £4 for 3 halfs of lager. If you have children that can occupy themselves and enjoy open space then I would recommend this site. It's one to try.

July 2003 An excellent site with modern facilities. Open areas for children to play safely, yet quiet and very picturesque, Owners very friendly and helpful too.

Lovely samll campsite, very friendly staff. Outdoor pool small, but warm enough to swim in. Space for children to ride bikes, we went in low season and there was no-one in the club in the evenings, but this may be different in high season. Quiet site in beautiful surroundings.
