This is a real hidden gem of a campsite in Brean. The site itself is large and caters for all type of vehicles. I have a van conversion and did have to provide photos before they would accept my vehicle but that was not a problem.
The reception staff are very friendly and helpful. Once you have checked in one of the park wardens will show you to your allocated pitch. You are able to pick the area of the site you prefer (we chose lakeside) however it is a first come first serve basis for exact pitches.
The site has lovely fishing lakes with some huge carp in them along with a variety of other breeds. There are electric and non-electric pitches to choose from, a shop, launderette, small bar area, fish and chip shop / café, washing up area, and playground. There are a number of shower / toilet blocks across the site which are kept in a clean and tidy condition. They all have toilets, vanity areas, shower and privacy wash areas. The only down point (which is minor) is that the cleanliness of the toilets could be improved a little however, this could be down to the large number of people using them. The cleanliness of the rest of the blocks were very good. You will need to take 50p for a shower, which are hot and last for an acceptable length of time.
The site itself is very well maintained and has regular wardens patrolling which adds to the security of the site. A short walk from the site will take you to the local pubs and the nearby fairground. There are arcades and shops also in this area with a regular market.
This really is a lovely site that is well worth a visit.

First caravan trip and towing experience. Due to weather conditions we were not going to arrive till after 8pm. Called in advance and we're told that everything was OK for our late arrival. The Security man (Mike) was excellent, meeting us at the gate then showing us to our pitch by the lake. We set up the van then found we had no electric point. We phoned Mike and he came over and spent 45 minutes trying to work out our electric problem. He found us another pitch and helped us move the van.
The shower and toilet facilities at the site are plentiful and very clean. Numerous times I used them there was someone cleaning them. The shop is very well stocked and buying gas was easy and well priced. Unfortunately the weather turned on the Tuesday and tents and awnings were wrecked by the winds but the community spirit on the site was fantastic with everyone helping each other out. Again the Security and Wardens on the site came round to check and help people out which I thought was excellent customer service.
I would recommend this site to anyone for its excellent pitches and customer service and the facilities on the site including the shop, service area and takeaway food. Also the location is good for the town and the beaches and being dog friendly makes it an ideal site for our dogs first holiday.

We have been enjoying this site for about 4 years, however, we almost didn't return this year as felt the standard in the toilets/showers and general upkeep had fallen last year. However, we decided to book last minute for a three night break with a view to look for a new site in the area and things have certainly improved. The toilets and showers were kept very clean and it was a pleasure to walk round the site and see all the improvements. We've booked to return again in June and are so pleased we decided to return, the site, the walks and the facilities in the area always make our time there enjoyable.

We have been coming to this site for years and it is still an excellent site. The play areas have been revamped as have some of the toilets. It's a shame that the rules concerning dogs are not enforced though. There are a lot of dogs not on leads & even dogs inside the play area so. There are site vans driving round who must see it happening. My granddaughter is nervous around strange dogs especially when not on leads. We have a dog so the no dog field isn't an option so mite be time to look elsewhere unfortunately. My only other suggestions would be a mop in the showers with the rain that we have had it is impossible not to get mudguard on the floor so would be nice to leave it clean

Love this site 5th visit and definitely not our last. We tend to go once a year in quieter times when Brean Sands isn't so packed. We love it October or Easter.
Large immaculate site - very safe and secure, fab staff and facilities.
Great play areas, dog walks & pitches. Pitches have hard standing and grassed area and are very well drained. Toilet blocks are warm, inviting and immaculate. Plenty of bins and recycling facilities. Fab shop on site also chippy and launderette. Cannot be faulted.
Easy access to the surrounding area. Lovely flat dog friendly beaches. Loads to see and do. One of our favourite sites. My husband loves the fishing which is free and the pitch prices are the cheapest & best value this area has to offer.

We stayed here many of times over the years and return once a year for a week. Staff are very friendly and helpful when you book in, ground staff always happy to help.
Pitches have plenty of room, fields are kept clean and tidy. The toilet blocks are always clean and tidy and showers are lovely and warm.
It has a lovely dog walks area and the beach is dog friendly - that's why we return here every year. Lots of pubs and food places near by and local shops.
I would and have recommended this site to my friends.

We booked to stay at Northam Farm for 16 days starting 25 July (yes I know in the school holidays) on arrival the office staff were very helpful, and the grounds staff, who take you to your pitch were very helpful in so far as he was very busy and as we had stayed here before left me to my own devices as to finding a suitable pitch, this is very good if you are confident in reversing your 'van into the pitch, and these pitches are quite large more than enough for a 6. 0mtr 'van and 2 4x4's. Toilet facility's are very good always clean and tidy and from our pitch only a few minutes away. The area around Brean and Berrow is very nice with trips to Weston super Mare and Cheddar Gorge (lovely place)only a short drive away. The site itself has a quiet policy that after 11. 00pm all is quiet this was so even in the hols very good, there are good restaurants and entertainment within walking distance, so all in all a good stay, that was extended by 6 more days, as someone didn't want to come home so 23 days in all and we will go back. Only one word KIDS most of them are fine but there are a few lemmings there and they have no fear even when confronted by a 3 tonne pick up on their bicycle they are invincible so drive slowly.

I love Northam farm and enjoyed several holidays there. This year we stayed on lakeside which was definitely the best pitch we've stayed on so far.
The only problem we had was too many dogs off leads on dog walks that stated dogs on leads in these areas. And campers not picking up their dog mess. The dog walk paths we're strewn with dog mess we knick named these paths poo alley. We have 2 dogs ourselves and not only picked up our dog mess but found ourselves picking up dog mess from outside our caravan that was from other people's dogs. We have covia to keep our dogs secure. On a positive beautiful site and friendly staff great amenities and one of my favourite sites. We were charged for the dogs this year £1. 00 each per night that's OK buy we were told they are thinking of raising this charge to £2. 50 per night per dog, I hope this is not the case as we will not be returning if this is implemented as would add £70. 00 onto a 2 week holiday.

We'd found out about this site from a leaflet we got from the caravan & motorhome show. First impressions were very friendly staff, clean site, child friendly and masses of space per pitch. The facilities were always really clean, even when the site was full of families with young children and never did it feel over crowded or noisy. The idea of paying for a shower wasn't to my liking, especially when I've got a perfectly good one in my caravan. If you didn't want to use your car there was a sufficient amount of shops nearby for groceries or an on camp shop if you needed spare parts/consumables i. E. : gas bottles, windbreaks, gas lamp mantles. If your lookout is for amusements they too were many and easily within walking distance as too the beach which was very clean, very long and if you were having a lazy day, on beach parking was also available for a very reasonable price. Because of my mobility issues we like fully serviced pitching to make things easier for ourselves, something this site is lacking in my opinion. We can't wait for our next stay there.

Just came home from a Whitsun break at this wonderful site. We stayed on the 'Lakefield' area of this park, as we had a tent and our family labrador. We had never stayed here before, the guy on the golfing buggy showed us to the field and gave us the choice of 4 pitches! All very generous in size, flat and 'Peg friendly!'
We are now going to use Northam Farm as our main stay site and look forward to visiting a few more times this summer.
