Very nice small site, excellently maintained even in winter season. Easy to access with caravan however pitches are situated well away from main road and there is no noise from traffic. Nice rural views from pitches but hard standing pitches are not that wide if you are intending to put an awning up.
Immaculately clean toilets and showers in heated block. Plenty liquid soap, hairdryer in ladies - all good :-) Push button showers a bit of a downside although wouldn't stop us returning.
Site not too far to slopes if skiing is your thing. Small supermarkets and food takeaways within walking distance.
Owner very friendly and welcoming and at only £17 a night including EHU, this site is a bargain.

Excellent campsite with a friendly welcome. We visited in November and although not too cold the heated toilet blocks were very clean and much appreciated. It’s a quiet site with a combination of hard-standing and grass pitches. Plenty of electric hook-ups available. Newspapers and morning rolls can be ordered. There’s a pub at the gate, but more facilities are available 15 minutes walk away in Alyth with a good selection of convenience stores and pubs. There’s also a chippy and Chinese carry-out. We will definitely be back!

As previous reviewers have said, this is a nice compact little site with clean toilet blocks and friendly, helpful owners.
For anyone wanting a bit of a walk in the area, Alyth is on the Cateran Trail which is a 64 mile walking route. However you don't have to do all of it! If you head north through the town you can do a circular walk which takes you up onto the gorse-covered hills above, and then along the ridge paths and back down the other 'leg' of the Cateran Trail into town.
Or if you want something a bit shorter, the Den of Alyth is a good place to take the dog and/or kids as they have a little adventure playground hidden away in there.

Lovely caravan park that is very well kept. Toilets are always clean. Think that one of the showers in ladies is very small though it seems to be in a cupboard, that is ok for children but no good for a adult. There is a laundry room that is good especially with a spinner for using after hand washing. I think this is a bonus, you don't usually get one now. Great playground for small children. Park seems very safe for children as not too big with lots of cars going up and down, and the price is great.

Very nice site. Small and well maintained! Owners are very friendly.
Facilities are very good. Clean and tidy. Only downside to this site is the showers. They are the push ones and only last 10 seconds and you can't adjust the heat.
Rained a few times while we were there but the grass was never flooded.
Wifi available at a reasonable price of £5 for 24hours through CaravanConnect.
Never used the laundry facilities so cannot comment on these.
All in all a very nice site and would recommend to campers of all ages.

Just returned from a nine day holiday at five roads with our tent trailer - what a jewel of a site 'a wee corner of heaven' We arrived in torrential rain but drainage was excellent - large flat grassy area to pitch our unit on. Toilets absolutely pristine and plenty of hot water - only two showers in ladies but never had to queue and site was quite busy. Beautifully kept gardens and the site wardens couldn't do enough for us. Rolls and papers available in morning - fifteen minute walk from the lovely village of Alyth which has three good supermarkets 2 chinese takeaways 2 lovely coffee shops, a smashing chippie and three pubs and the Alyth Hotel where we had a lovely meal.
Alyth Den is a beautiful woodland walk with a playground for children and a dog walkers paradise.
Blairgowrie is only 4 miles away and has a large Tesco and Co-op. Buses stop outside site for Perth and Dundee. A real find and we will definitely be going back Hats off to Stewart and Hazel the wardens.

Small site but great for family with kids and dog. Small play park on site and a good forest walk (Den of Alyth) about a mile away which has a big play park.
Good clean facilities which never had to queue for and amazing drainage considering the amount of rain.
Very reasonably priced, cost us £17 per night for all + EHU.
Kids and dogs were welcome and not too noisy, everyone on site very friendly.
Good fish & chips in Alyth! Co-op and Spar in Alyth which is 10min walk or large Tesco about 5miles away. There is a chinese takeaway in Alyth too but we didn't try that.
Good location for travelling, we went to Dundee, St Andrews, Pitlochry and Arbroath with no issues.
Highly recommend, we will certainly be going back.

Last minute two night break only 40 minutes from home.
First visit to this lovely little site which is well maintained, has good facilities and staff are very friendly.
Easy walk into nearby Alyth with a variety of shops. Pub near entrance which would have been handy if the rain had appeared however was not necessary!
Although near a road we were not aware of traffic noise.
Plan to visit this site again soon.

Spent 5 nights here. Absolutely perfect. Toilets and showers immaculate. Only criticism would be a wee stool in the small shower cubicle would be handy! We had 3 kids with us 13, 11 and 6. Happy enough to play in the park which was very safe. Ideal area for day trips. Strawberry and pea pod picking a treat for the kids. Also trip to Camperdown Park, Dundee worth a visit. Hope to return next year if not before.

Great Site!
We booked family of 4 as we were going tank driving near by. Booked as good reviews on this site and we were not disappointed. We were on grassy pitch and despite heavy rain this summer grass was dry.
I can not find one fault with this site, it is well maintained and clean, perfect size.
We went a walk round Den of Alyth when we arrived which also had a great play area for kids.
Perfect weekend !
