Great campsite, not very big but really peaceful and relaxing. Kids had hours of fun playing on the park, the big field with goals, games room and down by the river (wellies recommended!). The shower block was small, only 1 shower but it wasn't a problem, it was clean if it did get dirty, a quick phone call to the owner and she was round cleaning it. The owner was really nice, very friendly and helpful, genuinely pleased to have you there! The shop was only open for 2 hours a day which might be a problem for some people,it didn't bother us though. Jedbrough is only 5 mins away, not much there but handy for the chippy and general dealers. We went to a Harestones Visitor Centre in Ancrum about 10mins away, this was free and had a brilliant park, nature trail, sandpit, small shop and cafe and various craft shops. The kids loved it, great few hours out. We loved this site and I'd recommend it to families and couples as the kids had plenty to keep them amused and give the adults some peace and quiet!

We have just stayed at this site for one night for my very first camping trip. We had a good pitch, right next to the river and the site is my type of site, quiet, relaxing yet also child friendly. The weather was glorious, which helped, enabling my son to play in the river with fishing net all day and not touch his gameboy once! The children's park was fine and we spent hours watching him on the pulley thing! The toilet and shower block was clean and if it did get a bit muddy (from the children running back and forwards from the river) they were cleaned as soon as possible. It is about a five minutes drive into Jedburgh, which is handy for fish and chips! Overall it is a lovely site and I am sure we will be back again in the future.

Great Place to visit, for families & couples, we took our caravan for the first time to Jedwater, the owner was very helpful and offered great advice. Our three year old loved the play area & the shop sold most essentials. The local town is a very pleasant & interesting visit, with a very helpful tourist info centre. The Deer park is a must visit if you have kids, the animals are very tame and gentle, we enjoyed it so much we booked up again before leaving the site, also its kept very clean & tidy.

Just been for long weekend myself my girlfriend our two kids, father and his partner also came we all agreed its a very friendly place, as some other reviews state its really good for children with the play areas, unfortunately the trampolines have had to go but that's to do with health and safety which is fair enough. A few other reviews I have read stated problems with showers, toilets etc and I can assure you they were clean and there was no problems with water supplies. If you want a busy place with entertainment shows and loudness and stuff go to Pontins or Butlins. Personally this site is perfect for a quiet and peaceful time. We had a really good time the kids would go away and play at park or fish with their nets while we could just sunbathe and relax. This place is so good we have only been back home for a week and we are going back next week and we will be back again. I would recommend this park to anyone so much so 3 different sets of friends are all wanting to come with us next time
